M.A.I never could see what made the sound. I heard something hit tin. we have several tin out buildings. After I heard that sound my big lab took off after it.
I hope it was an animal. It sure scare the bejebeezes out of me.

Well, well, if THIS don't frost the pumpkin!! Do you all ever have your neighbors start up their vehicles EARLY in the morning and wake you up?? Well, I do! Ain't I just the LUCKY one?? This guy, across the street, goes out between 5:45am and 6am and starts his engine and sits there for a good 15 minutes revving it up. It's NOT that cold at night yet where it has to be warmed up that long. Then, again, his car is a piece of CRAP, so maybe he does. It just burns me up that these people can have so little regard for the rest of us. Makes me want to rush out there and give him 'WHAT FER"! You know what I mean??

Sorry! That wasn't a very nice way for me to start off a Monday morning, spoutin' off like that. Hope all of you have a gentler start to your day.

There's a beautiful sunrise just coming up so I guess I should be grateful that I was awake and able to see it. And, I am, so I'll stop griping now. hee hee

Auntiep, hope your cold is better this morning and the rest of your family doesn't catch it, especially Sarah.
Thanks for reminding us about the time change. We lose an hour of daylight but we get back an hour of sleep (if our noisy neighbors let us have it.)

I wonder if our 'wandering ladies' will wander back here this morning? They've all "got some 'splainin to do".

MA Is till have the cold i think it the flu. I was feeling better when the washer overflowed and I got my feet wet cleaning up. I am running 100.7 temp right now. Sarah is coughing her head off.
The health department said to call them Wednesday and we will try and take Sarah in to get the regular shot. Se said they would come out to the car.

Auntiep, stay on top of this. My sister forwarded me an email that was sent to all doctors and employees at her hospital. I'll forward it over to you. This H1N1 flu has reached epidemic proportions and is DEADLY. It lists some guidelines for preventing and identifying it.

Please take good care of yourself. Your family is all highly susceptible to it, living in such close quarters.

Hey, Auntiep, this is getting SPOOKY! Nobody has been on here since early Friday, except you, NY and me. And, even NY hasn't been back since we said good-night after GNO. Where do you think they've all disappeared to? Very strange.

So, how are you doing this morning? Has your fever gone down yet? Wish I lived near you. I'd bring you chicken soup and lots of juice. That's what our parents always loaded us up with when we got sick. Somehow, it always helped.

It's going to rain here today and tomorrow. It's already started in N.Y. so it will arrive here in a couple of hours.

You and I will just have to keep each other company until the rest of the gals decide to show up. For now, coffee and breakfast sound good to me. I'll be back later.

HI LADIES i worte a whole post and it just went bye-bye and i am losing the internet so hopefully i dont lose this post.
sorry i couldnt make friday i had to take my son for wrestling gear and i got home late and my older son had my computer. he still hasnt fixed his and why should he he took over mine. he even changed my desk top. if it was another time i would go buy myself a new one but not now. i have to go back and catch up what i missed. yesterday i didnt come on because i was busy at work. how is everyone, i hope everyone is ok. well let me go and i hope this post doesnt disappear like the last one. i will check back later.

Hey MA Gval just checked in. I'm going to the Dr for sickcall so is my SNL. Sarah acts like she is not feeling well. I am going to risk it and take her too. When she gets sick she gets sick fast and bad.

I call health nurse. She said as long as Sarah wasn't running a temp or throwing up or diarea not to risk taking her in. On the other hand mom is coughing her head off. I told her she needs to go with us but she said she wasn't doing it. She's in there yelling for different kinds of meds. wants this wants that. You have to tell her every five minutes she's already had it.

Gval, welcome back! You're the first one to post since last Friday afternoon, besides Auntiep, NY and me. Auntiep and I have been wondering and worrying about where everyone else was. The three of us had such a great time at GNO. We started at 8pm and said our good nights just a few minutes before Midnight. I'm sure you'll get a laugh when you read about it.

Did you find all the gear that he needed? That kind of shopping can be so tiresome. I remember when my folks had to take my brothers on those expeditions. I always tried to get out of going.

Glad to see you back! Just wish we'd hear from some of the others. With all this flu around, I hope none of them are sick.

Auntiep, let me know how you make out at the doctor's. I've been praying that you'd feel better and that none of the others would get sick on you. Get as much rest as you can. I know that's hard to do when you're the main caregiver.

Auntiep, how are you feeling this morning? Hope you're saying 'better'.

Went out for breakfast with some friends this morning. Had country biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and crisp bacon, a large OJ and coffee. A real cholesterol nightmare!! But, it sure did taste good!

It's raining again today. I have to do laundry and pack my bag for my 'get-away' to MA and NH to visit with some friends. I wanted to leave tomorrow but it's 'sweeps week' for my soaps and there's too much going on to miss a minute of them. I'll probably head out Friday afternoon and will be back either Sunday or Monday. So, I'll be MIA during that time. I'm hoping we get over to Parker's Maple Barn. I need to replenish my supply of maple syrup and I just love looking through all the neat stuff in their gift shop.

Patrick Dempsey was on Regis and Kelly this morning but I wasn't home in time to see him. He's going to be on David Letterman's show tonight. Got to see what he's up to.
