Hey Raggs! 21 prescriptions between you and hubby? Geesh, I hope they are doing their magic. Pls take care w/all those meds. I haven't been able to catch much news lately, what's this about this shark? Was it at the beaches here? When we were on vaca, I always looked out to the horizon, just in case! We did see many dolphins jumping in and out of the water!
I did hear about that horrible tragedy w/the Florida couple. Just tragic. Please promise, you don't consume yourself w/this story. It's too much negativity. IF you feel you need to update yourself, then ok, but real quick. Don't watch or listen for too long. I really think that it's not good for you to fill yourself w/too much sorrow. Please promise me!!!!!! And make sure you watch funny movies or go for a walk soon after you hear sad stories. You need a good distraction to bring you back in a better feel-good mode. Ok? You are such a good, generous, thoughtful caring person, I know you must take in so much. Just remember to fill yourself w/good stuff too!! How's the weather down there?

Well~ my mother is doing Great!! She got her first eye done a little over a week ago. She'll be getting her right eye done this coming Tuesday.

ATTENTION ALL GH PALS....BREAKING NEWS!!!

Our Susie called me a little while ago! She is still at her sister's in TN. She said her computer hasn't been working but someone fixed it for her and she'll try to post to us as soon as she's able. The kids knocked her cell phone into the swimming pool during a picnic and fried the sim card. She lost any messages that you all might have left for her. She just got a new phone with the same #.

She said the doctor's had thought she might go into remission as her cancer count had gone down to 400 but, it suddenly jumped again and is up to 1200. She's been in and out of the hospital since the beginning of July. Just came back home last evening and her sister gave her my letter. She was too tired to call me last night, so waited till this morning. We talked for about 45 mins. She's back on weekly chemo treatments and said she'll probably lose her hair again, after it had just started coming back. Her weight is down to just a little over 100 lbs now. On the positive side, her heart is strong and her lungs are clear.
The PTScan showed that the spots on her lung and liver haven't gotten any bigger. They're checking her blood regularly and she's been having transfusions, as required, to keep her red cell count up. In between, they've given her Procrit.

In spite of everything, she sounded perky today and is trying to remain hopeful and positive. I asked if the divorce had gone through yet and she said they're waiting for a court date to be assigned. She talked about some other things but I'm going to let her tell you about them.
I told her I'd post to let you all know she was still with us and fighting the good fight. She knows that you're all praying for her, so let's keep them going.

Raggs, I told her you were going back to Pensacola on Sat. and suggested she call you before then.

ny i will call you soon.next week is your birthday. and please dont worry about me, i am going to get thru this and my boys too. and i am going to talk to my neighbor he is a lawyer not a divorce lawyer but i am sure he can fill me on on some questions i have but i know i cant get him to leave until he is ready so i dont talk to him. my younger son is alittle upset but i cant i have no respect for the man.

hy sapphire, good to hear from you and what such wonderful news about your mom! i know she will excited to get the other eye done. is her vision clearing up in that one eye? you are such a good daughter helping your mom out in her time of need. you should be very proud of yourself that you and your mom are doing so good together.

ma, thanks for the call baout susie, so strange that we were just planning our nexts months calling schedule for her!!! i haven't heard from her yet but i will try her tomorrow.

I am so glad Susie is okay, I have been so worried.

Raggs I heard the men thought the couple had a lot of drugs on hand because of all the kids.

NY Mimosa are trees that leaves look like ferns. Their blossoms are pink and spiki with a white fussy center.They are fragrant but hard to smell for the spikes. They make long bean looking pods after the blossoms fall off. I just checked ours it still has some blooms way up at the top. Mom never planted the trees the first one appeared when we came back from Illinois. Dad said it was because the ground hadn't been mowed and it could grow. Well it lasted for several years. We had other come up in other places. But all but one is alive now. It came up out in the old garden.

I love hydrangea Mom had one but as usual I couldn't remember to keep it watered and it died. Mom always had patients How do you like those funny pods. I have gave them to people to see their reaction when they pop.

Hmm, Gval do you have the money to serve him Divorce papers. Here if you can't afford a divorce lawyer we have legal aid that helps. That is what I used and all I paid was court cost. It helped out a lot. We lost our house to a fire, and was building this house at the time. No furniture. I used the money I saved up for a lawyer and put a down payment on furniture.

Thanks y'all for Sarah's B-day wishes. I gave her her hat and shirt this morning. She grinned that dippled grin from ear to ear. She kept the hat on for awhile. Tomorrow I am going to try and get her a new DVD player, this one freezes up on her and ticks her off. I hope they have some cheap ones.
Alfie I saved up to go see Harry Potter. My sister's daughter said it wasn't any good and she won't take me. I guess I will have to wait and get the DVD.

Hail, girls! No, I MEAN hail! What a thunderstorm we had here in CT last night! The most incredible lightning I've ever seen and crashing thunder and HAIL bouncing all over the place. We'd been under a warning all day until 8pm last night and the time had expired. Thought we were safe but it came on suddenly and moved very slowly through the state about 20 mph, from West to S. East. I guess I'm glad our old tree is gone because I don't think it would have survived this storm. Lost the satellite signal for over a half-hour. Lights flickered but we didn't lose power.
Needless to say, it was a 'tad' noisy for quite a while.

Beautiful here this morning. Everything washed clean.

How is everyone today? The weekend is upon us again already. The summer seems to be flying by us. Can't believe that I saw a 'Back to School' ad for K-Mart on tv yesterday. The woman was going to buy all the stuff and put it on lay-away. They sure do rush us through the seasons, don't they?

Well, whatever you're planning, hope you have fun. My landlord is here for coffee so I've got to run. (Hey, I made a little rhyme.)

good morning everyone.
well maryanne it wasnt that bad by me around nine it started to thunder and then the rain came down really hard and within fifteen minutes it was gone.
alfie i cant afford lawyer fees, here in ny it is very expensive i told him if he wants he a divorce he has to pay for my lawyer. i saw last night he starting to look for apartments again. i totally stop talking to him. i had enough. i am not mad but iam tired of the whole thing so i just cut him out.

Raggs, know you must be busy getting ready to head back to your dad's tomorrow morning. In case you didn't see my email today, just wanted to wish you God speed on your journey and you know you carry all our prayers with you.
