HI MARYANNE hubby forgot to check how much oil we had and we ran out. he did heat water for me before i got up but it just wasnt enough. needless to say i was not a happy camper but it is not the first time he has done that. when he leaves i have to have a meter or something installed so i can see how much is left in the tank. but i am tired of the rain and tomorrow i have a meeting in nj. i will be gone from the office all day so i wont be on tomorrow it going to be a long day

It's another dreary, overcast day here in CT. BUT, it's still a great morning because we're ALIVE and HERE, so let's make the most of it. The sun will find its way back to us eventually.

Cali's mom had her broken hip surgery yesterday. The doctor said it was a bad break. She will be in the hospital for 10 days and then in rehab for 6 to 8 weeks, all in Illinois. She's 73 yrs. old so let's send lots of prayers her way for a successful recovery. Cali's dad is at home in Arizona and has his own health issues so we need to send some his way, too.

I'll try to call Raggs today. Haven't heard anything more from her since her phone call the other day.

Susie and Auntiep....need to hear from you gals. We get nervous when we don't see you on here.

Where oh where have the rest of you disappeared to? We've been pretty sparce around here lately. Hope all is well with all of you.

Erin and I have been a really busy bee. I bought us Six Flag and Hurricane Harbor season passes. We went to Hurricane Harbor last Saturday. I took her to Six Flags on Monday and we went through their Safari too. Jeff left last night so I might take her to Hurricane Harbor again this Saturday.

We bought Erin a sandbox, swingset, a climber, and a Radio Flyer wagon in the past couple of weeks. We've been really busy playing in the back yard, and going for long walks in the evening when the sun isn't so hot.

I have plans for Father's day we're going to the beach since Jeff will be coming home the night before. Erin has a tan already. From the sun she's even more blonde then before.

Well Erin's done with her breakfast. I promised to take her to the new park they just built on the base.

Hi girls!
Been busy! I'm going to my moms to help her out w/some things. My daughter has her dress rehearsal for dance tonight and tomorrow night is her band concert at school. Her dance recital is Sunday. We have my friends wedding on Saturday, but I just learned that my cousin who was supposed to watch my kids has her daughter w/Swine Flu! It's not a bad case, but still very scary to hear. Please pray for her too! Anyway, that also means I need to figure out what we are doing w/the kids now at the last minute!
I also have a walk-a-thon for ALS on Sunday morning.
So, I'm running around like a headless chicken. June is always hectic and my son wants me to bring in cupcakes this Friday since he's a summer b'day and the teacher said we can celebrate now. I"m pooped!

Gval-hope you got to take a warm shower today!

MA-crazy weather we're having? That thunderstorm was crazy yesterday. Today we are getting a bit of a break but it's coming back for Thurs and Fri. Should be a nice weekend though.

Raggs and Cali-my prayers are w/all of you and your loved ones. Keep us updated.

Good morning ladies. I have been busy too. Yesterday was my last lunch until September and it went by really fast thank goodness. We have money saved from the lunch duty and since we don't get paid, we are going out tomorrow for pedicures. Since we are all watching our weight, we said this would be a better idea than going for a big fancy lunch. If we have time, we will go to the diner next door. I lost another pound yesterday so I have now lost 5 lbs. Don't see it yet but I did. When I loose 15 lbs then I think I will notice a difference but for now, at least I am doing something for myself. I am going to be sick of eating fruits and veggies plus protein all the time but in the long run, I am hoping to look good.

Maryann, didn't hear from raggies either and I hate to call and bother her. I don't know what to say anymore since I know her dad is not doing well and I am sure she is upset.

NYDRAMA, wish I lived closer, you could have dropped the kids off at my house, they would have had a ball with my kids. If ever you need to go my way, always know that I am around to babysit, my kids love company.

Mommyof1, so nice to hear from you. Send us some pictures of Erin when you find the time, would love to see her now. Did you go to the new outlets yet off the GSP Exit 100A? It's really nice. I have to see if Mike wants to take a ride out there, I would love to see what other new stores they opened up. Glad Jeff will be home for Father's Day, you have a great day with Erin at the park.

GVAL, you were talking about oil to heat the house? Or where you talking about gas for the car? You have to have them deliver your oil? We have gas heat so it's not as expensive as oil. You will have to make sure that you take care of everything now in the house, don't depend on him.

My kids get out at 12:20pm today and tomorrow is their last full day of school and then all half days. I am taking them at 1:30pm to get haircuts, their hair is so long, I am surprised the teachers have not complained yet.

Sun is trying to come out here. Lets hope the weekend will be good. Have a good day everyone. Try and catch up later.

Ok, I am really upset now, just wrote this whole post and it is gone. This stupid website sometimes really is upsetting.

Just got home from my pedicure and lunch. It was really very nice. Both my friend Nancy and I are in charge of Tuesday lunch so we saved enough extra change over the year to have enough money to take the 6 of us out for a pedicure and then afterwards, we went to a diner for lunch. It was great giving them all a gift from us. Hopefully, all these girls will be back in September to help us out again.

Raggies called just before I left. She sent her love and misses all of you and thanks you all for your prayers. Her dad is not eating or drinking. She is working with him but he took only 3 bites at breakfast. I told her not to force him just make sure he drinks water. Tomorrow, she is going to the onocolgist later in the day and I am sure they will tell her exactly what is going on. It sounds like the road I took with Dee. She said she will try and call me tomorrow but if she does not get me, she will call Maryann.

She asked us to also pray for Maddie since she is lonely and misses raggies. Gary is busy at work and doesn't have time to take her out. Chad has a new job at a plant and is working fulltime. Raggies said is a really good job. He also moved in with his girlfriend which raggie likes her so at least there is some good news her way.

Aussie, glad to see you onboard with us. Wow, LA again? I am planning on going to Disneyland next year, GHFAN will meet me hopefully all will be ok next year for me to go.

hi I know I have been having a lot of problems to trying to log in on here. one of my computers is off being fixed.it lost all sound. Im half scared to even use my lab top. cause I need it to pay bills. and check my bank. I hope you all are ok. our gas ing okla (broken arrow,tulsa) is 2.47 yesterday.it just makes you want to cry.other wise Im ok.if all else I have a place to live ,all my utilites. Gh and most inportant I have you all.Im so bored I tried to mow the grass.you cant even see the line where you mowed.I gave up.when the grass is laughing at you.and the grass is sitting there asking you.are you stupid or what? I dont need to be mowed.

Hey Roe, yeah LA again. I love the shopping. It's cheap and there are some shops we don't have here.

MaryAnn, I haven't been to San Diego but it's not far from Los Angeles is it? Only about 1.5 - 2 hours. Something to think about.
