Psalm 18:2

Through all the perils of our way
Eternal love, in Thee we rest
Forever safe, forever blest

Faith bridges chasms that reason cannot fathom

God is always on time I needed that my son leaves Sunday going overseas for a year and I am not feeling to good emotionally today; he won't be here for his birthday, his son's birthday, or Christmas. I am proud of him, but really need comfort and prayers right now for his family also. I know God is true to his word and will protect him.
prayer to you and your son, and extended family

He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.
Psalm 91. Lord in the name of Jesus cover fireballs son, while he is overseas, let the Angels put a hedge of protection around him.

Quote chychy65: 12-3-07

Let us be Christ's true disciples
Looking to another's need
Making stony pathways smoother
By a gentle word or deed

In a world that "couldnt care less"
We are to be people who couldnt care more

Amen

Quote StaceyT: My children and I say this prayer daily!

The Armour of God:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6: 10-18

The way we say our prayers at night:

We thank you father for the gift of forgiveness, we ask in your mighty name to forgive all our sin's known and unknown. We ask that you apply the blood of Christ to our subconciuos, unconcious, and concious minds.
We thank you for our Armor: We put on our helmet of salvation, our breastplate of rightesousness, we pick up our sword of the spirit - which is the word of God, our sheild of faith, our belt of truth: so that we know the truth from a lie, and our feet shod with the preperation and the peace of gospel of Jesus Christ - according to Ephesians ch. 6 our armour is on good and tight.

According to Isaiah 54:17: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Amen

Thank you Lord.

Quote SndrElkins: There was an Indian Chief who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge
things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at
a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in
summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe
what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.

The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so
sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with
fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they
had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season,
and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that
come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the
beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral:
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.

Don't judge life by one difficult season.

Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time.

Live Simply.

Love Generously.

Care Deeply.

Speak Kindly.

Leave the Rest to God.

Happiness keeps You Sweet,

Trials keep You Strong,

Sorrows keep You Human,

Failures keep You Humble,

Success keeps You Glowing,

But Only God keeps You Going!

Beautifuly stated.

Amen

Thank you!

Beautiful One liners---12-11-07

Give God whats right--not what's left

He who kneels before God can stand before anyone

When praying dont give God instructions, Just report for duty.

Dont wait for six strong men to take you to church

Exercise daily--walk with the Lord

Read the bible it will scare the HELL OUT of you!

LET the peace of God rule in your hearts,
and be thankful
colossians 3:15

Give me a spirit of thankfulness, Lord,
for numberless blessings given
Blessings that daily come to me
Like dewdrops falling from heaven

with practice, anyone can master the art of thankfulness

This poem is a good reminder of what's really important in life.

I had always been taught
to ask God for what I needed
and that he would give me
whatever I ask for in his name.

So, I asked God for
prosperity, power, popularity,
good grades, safety, success,
good friends, health, and wealth.

In all these things,
I asked God for more of what I wanted,
but he gave me more of what I needed:
Himself.

As i have done, so God has repaid me
Judges 1:7

If you sow seeds of wickedness,
Sin's harvest you will reap
But scattered seeds of righteousness
Yeild blessings you can keep

Sow today what you want to reap tomorrow
