In my own life, I am trying to remain open to new realities, not blaming Gid when my expectations go unmet but trusting Him to lead me through failures toward renewal and growth. I am seeking a trust that "the Father knows best" in how this world is run. I see that the way in which I may want God to act does not achieve the results i Might expect.

When God sent his own Son--sinless, full of grace and healing--we killed him. God himself allows what He does not prefer, to acheive some greater goal.

redeemed-how I love to proclaim it
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
redeeemed through His infinite mercy

Heavenly Father and God of mercy,

wisdom and grace.

Lord Jesus, you appeared to your
apostles after the resurrection and filled

"Peace be with you".

May the peace of your presence
abide with me and make each day you
give me the most beautiful day of my life.

Lord Jesus, you triumphed over death and
destroyed the power of death in me,

My string confines me near the ground" the kite does finally manage to tug itself free, but instead of soaring higher into the sky, it crashes into the sea.

the Analogy calls me to reconsider some "strings" that make me feel constrained. Vows, Promises< Commitments. Responsibilities. Although such tings make me feel tied down, God uses them to hold me up. As James teaches, it is our willingness to be humbled (or held down) that God uses to lift us up (james 4:10)

before cutting any string, make sure its not one that's holding you up.

Think of your life as a canvas on which a picture is being painted. What would you rather people see: the masterpiece of the presence of Jesus or the shadow of your own profile? Dont get in the way of a great Painting in progress. Live to let others see Jesus in you.

For whatever reason, God has let this broken world endure in its fallen state for a very long time. God seems to value character more than our comfort, often using the very elements that cause us the most discomfort as His tools in fashoning that character.

Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap
Galatians 6:7

Do you have any junk in your life? Sin's consequences have a way of accumulating. When we confess our sins to God, He promises to forgive and cleanse us (1 john 1:9). For those we have hurt, we can seek ways of righting wrongs through restitution (Luke 19: 1-8). The God of grace will give us wisdom in dealing with bad decisions from our past and help us to make good ones in the future.

THE LAW OF SOWING AND REAPING HAS NEVER BEEN REPEALED.
