when we trust in what Jesus has done for us, a relationship with God begins, and sin no longer has control over us. The apostle Paul wrote, " Sin shall not have dominion over you" We are no longer seperated from God. We are set free from bondage. Satan's secret is out in the open.

God has given everyone a concience to tell right from wrong. and his moral standards are written in the Bible. Every time we use words GOOD and BAD, we imply a standard by which we make such judgements. Biblical values are true for any age, because the originate with an eternal, unchanging GOD.

ONLY GOD HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFINE WHAT'S WRONG.

One spirit-we all have the Spirit as our power source
One hope-we all look forward to the same future
One Lord-we all trust the same Person in charge

One baptisim-we all have a single identity
One God and Father-we all share the same source of our existance.

what a difference it would make if we all could dwell on those 7 "ones".

FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT UNITES THEM, NOT ON WHAT DIVIDES THEM.

Jesus our Savior , to return. As we wait, He is our constant companion. Like the earth we rant and rave for God to make things right. We as His followers are called to wait " with perserverence" in spite of earthly uncertainties.

Sometimes our plans break down and our efforts fall short. When things happen that we cant control, we must "keep on travelin" and remember where the real power for godly living and true praise comes from. When our efforts falter, we need to keep praising and lifting up Jesus. It's all about Him anyway.

Because all humanity has sinned, we can rejoice that Jesus was qualified-He and He alone-to be the flawless Sacrifice we need.

We give thanks to Jesus Christ, our sinless sin-bearer-the one exception!

ONLY JESUS, THE PERFECT SACRIFICE, CAN DECLARE GUILTY PEOPLE PERFECT.

This thread brought me a great deal of comfort when my MIL went home to the Lord. Thanks, guys.
