God reads our hearts and knows our needs. Often even while we are speaking, the desired blessing is on the way. Yes, prayer is faster than any modern means of communication. Let's use it often.

EVEN WHILE WERE ASKING,

Hi, I hope it is ok if I post here. I write and post on another web site. And my poems and true stories about what God has done in my life, and my families lifes has went really well. When referring to God, His Son, His Spirit, and His Word, I use capitol letters. It is not intended to offend. It is just a way of respecting God. But anyway, here goes. This is a poem I wrote years ago, I hope you like it. Blin.

THE WORD OF GOD

The Word of God;
Helps me take each step I trod.
The Word helps me to defeat satan, my foe;
And also helps me build up my spiritual soul.

The Word is there for us to help teach;
How I love to hear the Word, through a preacher preach.
The Word is sharper than a two-edged sword;
And will cut into your very soul.
But how else do yo expect to spiritually grow?
So just go ahead and let the Word flow.

But do you know why I love the Word so?
It`s because Jesus is the Word.
Jesus is a present help in times of trouble;
And like Him there in NO double.

The Word tells us how Jesus loves us so;
He suffered for our sins and died.
His precious, powerful blood was shed for our sins;
The very day He was crucified.
The Word of God.
Helps me take each step I trod.

Do all things without complaining and disputing
Philippians
2:14

We need to avoid a complaining spirit when serving Christ. Instead, rejoice and thank God for all that He has done!

No griping allowed

When things go wrong, I would not be a grumbler,
Complaining, seeing everything as grim
for when I think of how the Lord has blessed me,
I cannot help but give my praise to Him.

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4

Do any B ible promises frustrate you.. Some people say that Psalm 37:4 is a guarantee that you'll get whatever you want.. spouse, job, money... this has made me wonder at times WHY DONT I HAVE WHAT I WANT.

1. CONSIDER THE CONTEXT
Psalm 37 is telling us nt to worry or be envious of the wicked. our focus is not to be on what they have, nor on what they seem to be getting away with. Instead we are supposed to trust and delight in the Lord

2. CONSIDER OTHER VERSES

Were taught in 1john 5 :14 that our requests need to be according to God's will for us.

3. CONSULT A BIBLE COMMENTARY

Doing a deeper study can help us understand Bible verses such as this..

As we learn to delight in the Lord, His desires will become our own and He will grant them.

YOU CANT BREAK GOD'S PROMISES BY LEANING ON THEM
