For those of us who get mad at God when life takes a wrong turn, we need a good dose of biblical therapy. So welcome to a two step program toward a positive, God-honoring response to pain.

1, Think straight about trouble. Its not only inevitable, its indiscriminated. Trouble comes in all shapes and sizes. various trials effect our health, careers, relationships. Once we understand the facts, we can begin appreciating their significant value in our lives.

2. trade resistance and resentment for receptivity and rejoicing. "count it all joy" The joy is not in the presence of pain but in the knowledge that God is using our pain to refine us and make us better, not bitter.

If we embrace adversity,
Accepting every pain,
Then we will learn what we should know
OUr greif will turn to gain.

GOD CHOOSES WHAT WE GO THROUGH
WE CHOOSE HOW WE GO THRU IT!

lET them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share.
1 Timothy 6:18

Even if we are not wealthy, God has called us to radical generosity. We can share what we do have and be rich in good deeds. If we have a generous attitude about money, we are much more likely to be generous in other matters concerning the Lord's people and His work.

WHEN WE GIVE OURSELVES TO THE lORD, ALL OTHER GIVING BECOMES EASIER.

Exercise yourself toward godliness
1 Timothy 4:7

It requires no money to study a Bible passage or memorize a verse. We dont need special equipment or materials to pray for a friend, give thanks to God, or sing His praise. We just need to begin where we are, with what we have right now.

Just as the body will grow strong
With exercise each day,
So too, we grow more like our Lord
By living life His way

GODLY EXERCISE IS THE KEY TO GODLY CHARACTER

Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven (john 14:6). we gain entrence only by putting our faith in him.

Come to the Savior, make no delay,
Here in His Word He's shown us the way
Here in our midst He's standing today,
Tenderly saying COME!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELL,
BUT ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN

Mary.... sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving.
Luke 10:39-40

Society places a premuim on those who can maintain a hectic sechedule and get it all done. So women who pause to sit "at Jesus feet" are somtimes considered unproductive. But Jesus commended Mary for taking time to be with Him. Certainly work has to be done, but Mary made the best choice.

Men, you can help women find the time to be with Jesus by pintching in with daily activities. Women, choose to stop the daily juggling long enough to spend a few moments with the Lord.

"AS THE DISHES SIT AND SOAK, TAKE YOUR BIBLE AND DO THE SAME"

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and priase his hame.

God Lights our path...

This may come thru a word of exhortation from a fellow believer. It may be the illumination of God's Word by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It may be calm reassurance in response to a heartfelt prayer. Or it may be the miraculous supply of a specific need. Whatever the case, God sends light when we are engulfed in darkness.

Jesus give light in the darkest night!!

GOD SOMETIMES PUTS US IN THE DARK TO SHOW US THAT JESUS IS THE LIGHT

In times of difficulty or loss , we should seek God's help and deliverance. But we must still trust Him if He does not answer our prayers the way we want Him to.

Have we learned to take no for an answer.

I do accept your will , o God,
And all your ways adore
And everyday i live I'll see,
to please you more and more

IN HIS WILL IS OUR PEACE

I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.
Revelation 2:17

Trusting Christ for salvation gives us a new identity. It's like receiving a new name written on a white stone, which shows that we are forgiven.

Were saved by grace through faith alone
Good works can have no part
But God rewards each loving deed
That's done with all our heart

JESUS REMOVES OUR SIN AND REWARDS OOUR SERVICE

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.
Deuteronomy 33:27


Are you afaid of free-falling unsure of where or how hard you will land. Remember God will fly to your rescue and spread His everlasting arms beneath you. He will also teach you something new and wonderful through it. Falling into God's arms is nothing to be afraid of.

He will ever keep your soul,
What would harm, He will control:
In the home and by the way
He will keep you day by day.

GOD'S LOVE DOES NOT KEEP US FROM TRIALS BUT SEES US THRU THEM

Jesus spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart
Luke 18:1

Jesus prayed. And he told us to pray always. Without prayerful dependence on God, we lack what it takes to do His will day after day. Prayer enables us to draw on our father's limitless resources of grace. Who needs to pray? we all do.

I NEED THEE,
EVERY HOUR IN NEED THEE
O BLESS ME NOW MY SAVIOR
I COME TO THEE!!!

NOTHING IS TO GREAT OR SMALL TO BRING TO GOD

Psalms 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
