It's sunny here (Il.)for now,but we have rain coming.I'm just cleaning today,maybe shopping later.

Hi guys.....

Still off this week.....
I am planning my 8 year olds Birthdya party.
We are having a Island theme.....
It should be fun...
Any ideas on food the kids would eat?????

well aim...that depends on the island...some islanders eat goats...others eat frogs and snakes....some eat monkeys..so it really depends on which island you want to concentrate on..just stay away from the ones that eat people..kids don't like people eaters...lololol...i crack me up....try pineapple snacks..mangos...maybe a lemon chicken dish...macadamia nuts..banana cream cake....coconut milk...comes in cans in the grocery store...maybe some virgin pina colada's....maybe a nice fruit dish with kiwi..melon's...passion fruit and the such....that is about all i can come up with now...hand out lei's and grass skirts for party favors....good luck

my teen is haveing a party like that in november...we have to wear cocnut tops and grass skirts..the whole nine yards...even a live band..hawaii style..gonna be a blast..i bought a limbo game..and palm trees to decorate with..totem poles and all kinds of stuff..even down to the little umbrella's to go in the drinks..
