Some of the people who were and are posting on the message boards are very rude and seem to take the show as real.They become very nasty. You do a wonderful job and I know that it takes time to read all of the posts. I have just found that some don't make a big issue out of what is said on here as with the message board..

There are all kinds of people who post....and yes some are taking the shows very personal...like it is part of their family when someone talks against them.... We saw it playing the Y&R Heal and Hurt game....

Some people lose site that these soaps are just shows.....people acting...and are here for our enjoyment....and a difference in opinion isn't an attack on the poster.....just a different way of looking at something.....I like to read all opinons...and sometimes an arguement is so persuaisive that I may even change my feelings toward a particular situation....We all need to keep that in mind.

Some people don't like to hear other people's opinions and get very insulted when other opinions differ from their own...All the moderators on the board try to do the best that they can to defuse these situations of people being rude and nasty....

Heart and Soul your posts have been great, I love reading them and I look foward to many more of your thoughts....Don't let the rude people ruin the fun for the rest of us.....There are many more nice posters who make this site enjoyable.

I feel all the threads, On Lily, Davetta, , needs to be moderated, and some of the posts removed, completely. I thought it was against the rules, to actor, bash. I have been on this site, for only a short time, and read all the posts, concerning Lily.To me, some of the posts, are bashing ck. I thought we were allowed to talk of the character and speak of how we do not like, or do like a character. I didn't think we were supposed to speak of an actor/actress, acting ability, in a negative way, or describe whether we think they are ugly, or not. If people do not, want the character Lily, anymore, it should be said, "I do not think there should be a Lily", but if people hate ck, or dv as actresses, I do not think it should be allowed to be written, on this board or any board.This is my opinion, and maybe, no one will want to read my posts, but I had to write, what I had on my mind. CK is a REAL person, in real life. Some of the posts would make her happy, but some of the posts, could hurt her ,terribly, inside, should she read what is being said about her. It could damage her for life, I have read that the actors/ actresses/ sometimes go to the boards to read about what people are saying about them.It hurts my heart, for the girl to read so many negative things about her, should she read it. I am writing this, and maybe my whole post will be moderated, or deleted, but at least I have had my say. I am posting this here, but will also paste it, as a reply on the Lily, board.

I have noticed the re-design of the website. I like the changes.

I like the changes with one exception;

When you are on the message board for a particular soap and hit the topic list button, it used to take you back to the topic list for that soap, now it takes you back to a main topic list. I like the other way better.

I have a question about the "bad post" button. What constitutes a bad post? I hope that is not a button someone can click on just because another person disagrees with them.

One other comment. I liked it better when you clicked on a topic and it too you to current page of discussion instead the first page when the thread started.

Glowery, you're awesome for giving me all this feedback. You can still click on the actual topic and it will bring you to the first page, then you click the number, and it will bring you to whichever page you want to be on. This hasn't changed at all.


If you click the "go back to topic list" it does take you back to the topic within the soap you're in. Not sure why you aren't seeing that.

The report bad post button is intended for people to report guideline infractions. All it does is notify us that there may be an issue with a post. We then go in to check it out. It's kind of a 'helper'. Please don't worry about it. We still don't plan on deleting posts unless they're seriously bad.

I'll explain all the new features, etc in an article, later on today!

okay I see the "go back to topic list" link at the bottom of the page. The "topic list" link at the top of the page did the same thing as the link at the bottom of the page in the past. I will just have to remember only the bottom link works that way now. Old habits die hard ya know.

Haha, believe me, I know!! This is a new feature, as of a week or two ago.

I know the new feature from a week or two ago is that we are now able to go back to the topics list from the bottom link...and that seems to be working fine.....but as Glowery was trying to say and as I said to you in an e-mail...we were also able to get to the rest of the Y&R threads by clicking the Topic list button on the top---which is right next to the post name....Now when we click that button it brings you not to the Y&R topics or the board you were reading but to this main board........
