I still don't think the bad post report is working. In the Y&R board the thread THE BRAD THING is filled with nasty fighting posts, which have been reported and are still there. I believe even a moderator has been in that thread and still the posts are there. Where are the GOOD moderators? |

Sorry we didn't see that. The GOOD moderators? Not sure where they are. I'm sure that it's not easy to moderate 10 boards though, with thousands of posters. We do our best! On any board on any website on the internet, you'll find that the moderators skip a few posts from time to time. Nobody's perfect. We just ask that you have patience! Maybe the bad post report IS working but as you said with so many posters and with 10 boards things seem to get over looked. Thanks for deleting that thread as it was getting ugly. I always have patience, it is a virtue. And all good things come to those who wait. |

How does one become a moderator  It may be something that I'd interested in doing, if it doesn't involve alot of time. It looks like maybe you could use some help. The only soap I watch is The Young and the Restless. No, nope. They're not overlooked at all. It's impossible for them to be, because of the way things are set up in our backend. We see them right away. We are looking into it but think that some posters may not be clicking 'yes' after they click the link to make it a bad post.. Or there may be something going on from our side. We don't yet know but we're checking it out!What I meant is that with 10 boards, the moderators have a hard time being everywhere at once. They will miss threads from time to time. It happens everywhere. That's why we have the 'report bad post' link, but if that's got an issue, then we need to fix it!!! We'll see. I'll hear back from Richard today, regarding that. Bad posts are taken care of throughout the day, normally. That thread was getting a little passionate. It happens! Ah, you see when I click on bad post, there isn't any option coming up to click a "yes". So I am thinking again that the bad post report isn't working. When I said "over looked" that wasn't what I meant. I didn't mean that someone read it or skipped by it on purpose, I meant that maybe with all the posts and all the boards it just fell into the cracks. BUT now that I think again the bad post isn't working, I can see how it can happen. |

It's very odd, because we have gotten a few of them. They can't be working - you're right. It's impossible for them to fall through the cracks. You're welcome. Patience is a virtue and I'm sure it will all get straightened out. Do we see red also when a bad post is hit? Does the system let us know that a post has already been reported as a bad post? |

Okay then it isn't working because I don't see red or anything when I mark a bad post. And if I hit bad post a 2nd time for the same post, it lets me do it again, but nothing shows up as a bad post. |

Ok so it's not working for you. That we can definitely say now. Don't worry. My lovely friend comes back from vacation tomorrow and he will surely fix things up for us. |
