FIREWORKS ??? OMG my 8 year old Golden retriever goes bonkers over firecrackers, loud bombs. He scratches the floor trying to get away. I hate fireworks, they need to be silent !!!!!

I have a 10 year old little dog and she's afraid of everything,fireworks and thunder and she goes and hide in the bathroom between the shower and the toilet i guess she feels safe in there

Yes, thunder also. the poor guys do not know what to do. THey want to hide in a small space. I feel so bad for them. Of course everyone in my hood right now is blowing them off !!!!! UGH... long night ahead

my cat hauls boogie at the sound fireworks..lol someone set one off a few mins ago and BAMM!!!off like a shot..he ran for cover..lol..now thunder he will hide too..

My dogs hate thunder, anything thats loud like that they go crazy

the fireworks scare our dogs also. I really don't care for them myself..But I deal with them. but like you brain they need to be silent!

My big lab is terrified of thunder. We had a big thunderstorm last week during the night. I had got into my daughter's bed because she was scared. Next thing I knew there was a 80lb lab sqeezing between us. And it's a small single bed. I told him(the dog) other dogs would make fun of him crawling up in a pink care bear bed to hide. Meanwhile the 13lb pomeranian didn't seem bothered a bit.

This holiday is the worst for our little fur kids.please keep them inside with the raido or tv on loud to help drowned out the noise...I hate firewoks b/c of the effects they have on these defensless little animals...

We've got a 7 yr old (turned 7 yesterday) yellow lab. SHE LOVES NOISE. The fireworks don't bother her as much, but let me tell you, when my brother goes to light on of ours, she goes ballistic and wants to chase it down. She's a hunting dog by nature and I uess that instinct in her doesn't go away. She's not gun shy either. My brother's a hunter and when we are all up my cousin's up in the countryside, and he's cleaning out his rifle and then testing it out, she HAS to be by his side and chase where the bullet had gone.

She's funny, but does she hate them? Nah!

Both our dogs are just shaking and sitting by me..Ok fireworks need to stop now..
