good morning all...hope yal..have a wounderful 4th..i'm gonna go sat at my dads and cookout and watch fireworks..from the front yard..our farm park has a firework show every year..and my dad lives just right up the road..instead of fighting the croud we just sit in his front yard...under the stars..beautiful country here.. |

LOL!! For ONCE it's cloudy & rainy here!! Rained a couple of inches last night and is still hanging around...but not pouring down. I look for the heat to go up later this pm. |

Have fun in that pool!! Oh I got a good one for you Surf since I know how much you like snakes!! Me, Gracie & Lori were trying to turn the boat back out of our swimming hole Sunday. Gracie starts screaming "SNAKE" and when we look around a copperhead was going right for her. Lori grabbed Gracie's lifejacket, threw her up over her head and started running. Of course by THIS TIME the dangged thing had come over to ME!! I screamed bloody murder! The guys of course were laughing their arses off at us! We left!!!!  OMG.... i would've passed slap out...i hate those miserable creatures...i freeze and can't move when i come up on one..i stand there crying ..  good thing it wasn't a Black Racer..those things will chase you... my cousion had on chase her up the drive way into her house..she shut the door just in time..those snakes are fast..and poisonous..copper heads are very poisonous..i'm glad no-one got bit...

LOL!! Black racers!! One got after me when I was a litle kid and chased me all over the corn field. My dad was laughing his arse off telling me to stop & it would stop. Oh no, I don't stop for no snake! I ran straight up my dad's legs without even stopping! That's one of the best memories I have of my dad! They let it go saying it wouldn't hurt you. Are they poisoness too??? |
