Don't get me wrong i love my country..(USA) but i think the Govt sucks about the health care situation..

I feel the same way!!!! I love the USA, but I would love to see us have a nationwide heathcare system, but there would be too many profits lost for Big Business Hospitals, Insurance Companies, Doctors and Drug companies, it is so sad!!!!

I think we should but the doctors wont take a cut. Probably because of too many law suits against them. It really sucks not having any insurance! Me and my hubby have no insurance and my daughter loses it August 1. Being that we are lowincome we get hers thru the state. During my pregnancy and 6 weeks after that I had it thru the state too. Everything was free even my c-section that I had. Thank God that I was covered thru that at least if nothing else.

Great topic, I have always been curious about this. I think it's disgraceful that the citizens of this great nation can not get proper health care and in some cases turned away from hospitals. Your systems is so much better. Our system does suck.

That is true, better shopping!!! Seriously though, I am so happy that we have our health care..however there are some hospitals and doctors here that want privatization...which would really suck big time. We try to rally together, and get this stopped if we can.. we are very fortunate. No worries, free care, bless the man that started this for us.

Yes our health care system is fantastic. We pay for very little, if anything. We pay to have our eyes checked once every two years at about $65.00. Benefits from where you work pays for prescriptions, and the rest is taken care of.


As for shopping, it always depends on where you live as to how good it is. I'm in Toronto and we've got fabulous shopping. So does Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary,... No need to go anywhere else!

I never thought about going to the States to shop, I live on Vancouver Island. I,mn going to Alberta this summer where they have to biggest shopping mall in North America

somethings are just cheaper there .. I was in buffalo on Sunday and for example I bought tide laundry soap for 5.99 at target the same size here is 8.99. Will the Canadian dollar being hit right it is a great deal.. taxes are cheaper there also

So am. I too agree. I stop cross board shopping a long time ago (I think after September 11th)

I find great buys here, Hamilton, etc. Montreal is a faboulous place to shop (garment district)

And what if u want new tatas or belly gone? do you have to pay full price for those?

I think it's awesome...Canada kicks butt in a good way...plus yall have other perks up there...i need to move LMAO
