your temporary file must be cleaned out often... I don't know why....but after a couple of days and someone changes their avatar, I can't see it unless the temp file gets cleaned.... So maybe if you haven't cleaned out the temp file in a while.... You are seeing people's old pictures...

I don't mean to sound stupid or ignorant but what is a "temp file" and how do u clean it!!

I just know how to clear it using windows XP... I am not that computer literate...but what you do is on top there is a tab called TOOLS...Click TOOLS and then look on the bottome there is a tab INTERNET OPTIONS - click that...then halfway down the page...you will see a tab,in the middle that says delete files... Click that and wait..then hit okay and they are cleared out...

There are other ways to do it but that one is the eaisiest to explain.

And by the way it isn't the same as clearing HISTORY....

Ok: Go to START (bottom left of monitor) then to PROGRAM FILES(or ALL PROGRAMS)......then go to ACCESSORIES.....then go to SYSTEM TOOLS....then to Disk cleanup. Run disk clean up then... Make sure the box is checked that says TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. and run the clean disk.... this should be done daily, and twice daily if you are online alot! Hope this helps!!;)

There are several ways to do it, depending on your browser. This way will work if you have Windows 98 and up!
