If a guy cancels a date with another girl to go out with you, you can be sure he'll cancel dates with you to go out with someone else.... It can also be said that if he cheated on another girl to go out with you, he will cheat on you too to go out with someone else....

My mom passed away when I was 17, so I never got to tell her that she was right about that...

My mother taught me that you ALWAYS respect your elders, You treat others as u want to be treated and most importantly: thank God every day for the blessings in your life because it is a gift from him.
She passed away when I was 14, but I still have a peice of her in my heart, my children and my memory!

people always tell me Im a nice guy..
I just say my mom raised me right.
all my life my dad did not want anything to do with me. even told a judge I was not his. one look at him an me the judge laughed at him.(I look so much like mt dad its not funny)but after a blood test the judge said I was his son.
my dad did not want to see me. till he found out he was going to die. I whent home for the first time in 15years.
he said he was sorry. an he wanted to spend time with me. I forgave him. we huged, cryed,an talk for a few. we was going to get together all that next weekend. he died 4days after I saw him.. but thats one thing my mom taught me--to forgive others...
my mom has taught me alot over the years. an I know she is proud of me. she does not have to say it. I can see it in her eyes every time I spend time with her. she knows she has raised me right...

Live long and Prosper my friends..

So sorry Stacey on the loss of your mom at such an early age. Yes, she will always be a part of you and your children (in your memory and your heart). There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of my mom and she has been gone for over 37 years.

Yes, my mother taught me also to always respect my elders and the Golden Rule..

You reminded me of something my Mom always says. She always says be the bigger person. My Dad doesn't talk to me or anything usually unless it is going to benifit him. He pretends I'm not there or whatever. I just want to live my life without him and my Mom is always telling me be the bigger person go see him even if I don't want to and all he'll do in the end is disappoint me because I thought he would have changed. I guess that is what my mom is there for, help me with the hard times and it is not always easy.

One thing that pops out in my mind right now is mom would always say was say your prayer and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins before you go to bed. That was one thing she always would tell me all the time. So that is one good thing she thought me.

So sorry nyaccent, about the loss of your mama, at such a young age. She sure was wise....I wish, I had been taught, what your mama taught you. My ex-husband, treated his first wife, horribly. (he was divorced from her, when we met), anyhoo, He divorced me, took my children and made all of our lives, a living hell. Your mom, taught you, a VERY important thing~ Hunter~

Baylea
Baylea

Momma always told me & sis: stand up straight, always tell the truth, no matter how much it hurts you, never take things that don't belong to you, from a piece of candy, to anothers man. I guess the thing she told us more than anything is "You are only worth as much as you value yourself". I see so much of momma in Baylea. I believe momma held on for her. She left us, to go Home, when Billy Paul was 2, and Baylea three days old. I miss her, even after almost 16 years, but when I look into my daughters deep green eyes, I see momma, & MeeMaw, & Great Granny. One girl every generation gets those green eyes, my sister got them, mine are blue, my sis's daughters eyes are blue, so Baylea is the "one" for this generation. I really want to see if she or BillyPaul have the green eyed girl of the next generation!
