I know Thanksgiving is not here yet but today I heard some Christmas music so I thought I'd open a thread to talk about our favorite CHRISTMAS music or songs!


My very favorite is just a happy, happy , happy song & it is HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS sung by BURL IVES and I think it was in RUDOLPH the RED-NOSED REINDEER! I just love it because I can see ole Burl Ives smiling as he sings the song & I always feel good after hearing it! How about ya'll?

Love O Holy Night by Celine Dion, gives me goosebumps!! And anything by Kenny G, now that puts me in the mood for Christmas. Burl Ives was always the happiest thing, made you smile just to see him!!

Chestnuts roasting by an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose.

I just love that song and no on sings it better than him.


I also love to watch my nieces and nephew sing and dance to "Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer" by the Temptations. We always get a kick out of that.

On one of the local radio stations they started playing all Christmas songs last week.
I really like most of the songs, hard to pick just one.
One of my favorites is The Friendly Beasts, but you never hear it.

Oh Holy Night is my all time favorite and I love it more when we sing it at Christmas Eve mass. It makes me teary eyed. Elvis Christmas music is also my fave....I grew up listening to Elvis in our house. Awwww such wonderful memorys....oh and a funny one my kids love and me too is Grandma got ran over by a reindeer. LOL

oh, holy night night is my fav. it tells of your Savior birth. the true reason for the season.
