An Interesting Quote...think about it !!!!!

This is a quote from Ronald Reagan in 1964..

Please google "A Time for Choosing Speech". WOW that was given by Ronald Reagan back in 1964.....WAYYY before he was President...after reading can you really argue with that philosophy? I'm sure some will, but what he said way back then..(not that long ago lol I was born in 1964) no wonder he was one of the most successful Presidents.

One must really read this speech ALL OF IT! WOW it's so relevant even today, especially today!

Yeah, he was quite a guy. Just thinking back to the Reagan years hurts a little. Lately I find myself wanting to visit Philly. It would just be nice to have a refresher course in what the founders were thinking and feeling. It makes me so sad to see how far away from the original plan this country has gone. But Reagan's quote that sticks in my mind the most is the one about how government doesn't fix the problem, government is the problem.

Well that quote just about sums up it up ....I am a die hard Ronnie fan....he was an actor that entertained us and he was also the one politician that I sooo trusted....I was priveledged to have had my first election vote when I turned 18....

but you know the thing that strikes me here, what a blessing that no matter what we think or how much we may disagree, we still have a right to our own opinion, at least for now. who knows when that might change and our freedom of speech might be taken away. . . . again, how it hurts to think about how the framers would feel if they were alive now.
