This thread is really dedicated to the NEW YORK YANKEES and their 27th WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP but especially to one poster who is a GREAT FAN! I do know there are many, many, many of ya'll who are fans but ILuvNY is a devoted fan and you would know this if you have posted with her. Her avi is even a NEW YORK YANKEE in full uniform. So here's to you ILuvNY along with your beloved YANKEES, I tip my hat to ya'll and the "beautiful" the guys put together, not only winning but beating the last years CHAMPION which makes it particularly sweet. Be sure and enjoy the ticker-tape parade. GO YANKEES! GO! And please enjoy the year! I am so HAPPY for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

They won fair and square, so it really isn't unfair the number of times they've won. My dad was a Dodgers fan way back when they were in Brooklyn and he used to get ticked when the Yankees always won. |
