I was just watching the VIEW and the ladies were talking about a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD who was gang raped in front of a crowd and NO ONE did anything to help. People were tweeting about it and some woman overheard two witnesses and called the police? Does anyone know about this? I think I must have missed something important? PLEASE tell me I misunderstood? THANKS! |

OMG cliq. I havent hear this yet. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! What is wrong with our society when people let a 15 yo girl get gang raped and not stop it or call the police? And then to tweet about it? Sick! |

If those people were tweeting about it and not preventing it, I think they should also be charged with a crime. It reminds me of that case back in the 60's in the Bronx (I think) where a woman was stabbed to death in front of witnesses and nobody did anything about it. KITTY GENOVIESE was her name and I hope no one ever forgets! We need to teach our young people NOT to be desenticized(sp) to VIOLENCE. I really know this is a "little" thing but even on the boards posters WANT REVENGE and CHEER when one character SLAPS or even decks/hits another. I was always taught to turn around and not hit/slap/punch unless you are defending yourself then that is completely different. I guess I am just too old fashioned, but I will always stand by/for my principles! JMO! |

Yes, when they were discussing this on The View this morning, Joy Behar did exactly that - - compared it to the incident in 1960. They were also saying that if someone did something as simple as yell out - STOP, POLICE - - OR POLICE ARE HERE, it might have been prevented. What is this world coming to? I am afraid for our kids now and in the future. |

Wait for these kids trial because their lawyers will try to make it all about the girl DRINKING! I don't know if you ever saw the LIFETIME MOVIE about the underaged teen girl who was mentally challenged and got raped by the gang of prominet FOOTBALL players and of course they ended up getting off due to a mistrial and then the father wouldn't let her go throgh the trial again. It was horrible what that little girl went through. but of course the lawyers for the RAPIST said the little girl WANTED IT and just wanted to be popular. I will NOT go into details about what was used in the rape! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JMO! |

Clicq: Thanks for the post. I can’t begin to wrap my head around this!!! She’s fifteen, and those mofos, ages 15, 16, 17, and 19-ganged raped KG, “used a foreign object, and causing great bodily harm.” Adding insult to injury – NO ONE – did anything to assist her. Its also stated KG, consumed a lot of alcohol (what does that have to do with her being gang raped), and we know that will be an issue when the case comes to trial. This is a horrific story; which leaves me feeling stone cold!!! |

If there were people standing around watching I bet someone has it taped. Hopefully they are on the side of right and turn it in. |

the assault went on for 2 1/2 hrs, no one from the school came out in all that time? there were 4 security officers working the event, no one thought to patrol outside? at least to check for drinking? smoking? something if i were her parent, i would not only press criminal charges, i would go after the school, it is their responsibility to keep their students safe |

JODIE FOSTER won an academy award for her portrayal of a woman(true story) who was RAPED ON A POOL TABLE(i believe in NEW JERSEY) and bystanders did NOTHING! The courts were able to convict some of the bystanders in that case! |
