Very Sad Day In Jacksonville Today
puddycat
I don't know how many of you have seen this, but I went to the memorial procession today here in Jacksonville, Florida for little Somer Thompson who was abducted and murdered last week here. It was heart wrenching - - hundreds of people were lined up for miles, as the hearse with her casket went by and all had purple balloons (Somer's favorite color) that they released as the hearse went by.
Last week, she was walking home from school, just a block or two, and was abducted. They found her little body three days later at a dump site.
You know, they will not release any information about the cause of her death because they do not want to give any hints as to how they are looking for who did this. They are zeroing in on child predators here in our area.
Speaking of child predators, and I am sure all you with children already know this, but it is so important to check out the registered child predators in your area - - it is so scary and unbelievable how many are just a few blocks away from where you may live.
Everyone, keep your children close - - and of course, here in Jacksonville, there will probably be very little Halloween as the monster who killed that baby girl, is still out there.
If I say what I think should be done with him/her whenever he is caught, I would be banned!
Just venting - - very emotional day.
This is a very short video to see what took place today, if anyone is interested.
there is a website where you can check out registered offenders in your area, got it from my BIL, i will try to get it and post it so nice that you went, the loved ones that are left so appreciate that
found it myself

Right, should have posted that link - - and it is very scary to see all the dots near where you live. Made me want to drive around to see where they lived.
Also, don't know why my first post is running all across the stupid page - - that ticks me off.

Jenny - - you need not be thinking about this tonight!
Get some rest for your day with Baby Crux tomorrow.
