is anyone else excited about shoulderpads coming back in?? i am very excited and look forward to seeing the trend take off. thats what i really like about the 80's soaps(the clothes) and was just wondering what others think? |

Shoulder pads actually add structure and definition to clothes and us! I don't mind a hint of shoulder pad but please no Dallas shoulders again! |

Blech! I sure hope not...those are examples of a fashion trend that must NEVER return. I don't mind having slight shoulder padding, like a very thin pad that doesn't make the shirt look boxy or that you were ironed wearing the shirt on an ironing board. I guess each generation is different--I thought shoulder pads were incredibly tacky. |

When I think shoulder pads I picture Krystal Carrington and Dynasty. Man they really wore them big on that show. I hated the ones that were so thick you could see them through your shirt. |

IMO...shoulder pads should be reserved for athletes.

I"m indifferent on shoulder pads, I suppose they could give me a little volume up top, and hopefully make my waist look smaller by comparison!! I just wish skinny peg-leg jeans would go away.... |

i just wanted to say we should expand this topic to include shoulderpad stories and maybe some of the wildest outfits seen with padded shoulders and also the biggest shoulderpads youve wore or seen. |

Every time I see this thread on the board I think about a bad sci-fi movie where these angry shoulder pads come back from the 80's to seek their just revenge on the shoulder-pad haters.... |

I had a friend that would take the shoulder pads out of her jackets, dresses and blouses and stuff them in her bra - - and that ain't no lie!!! |
