Oh gosh I have not really thought about it. It is always just the two of us now so we don't really do much. Hubby's birthday is next month and I have no clue about that. I am hoping some of the video games go on sale. Not that I would really know which one to get. I want a snuggy. I am sure there will be a lot of them on sale at Walmart.

So far these are the things I have picked out for gifts...the list for gifts is long, but I haven't really started yet..so only have two!!
Zabars Catalog (order catalog zabars.com) for a young couple..the Dark Roasts package which includes one pound of each, French, Italian, Vienna, and Royale blends, plus a Bialetti Stovetop Espresso Maker, milk frother, two mugs, a scoop, and cinnamon rugelach..for 129.00 which includes shipping.

For a five year old boy...I am also getting him a DVD and book, but purchsed through Heifer International, shares in a milking goat, a pig, and a sheep for a total of $30. If you are unfamiliar with Heifer International you purchase an animal for a poor family( or a share in the purchase) in a developing country so that they can get milk, cheese, butter, yogurt. Or for the pig, fertiler, and the sale of it's offspring, and the sheep provides wool for clothing. There are many other animals you can purchase for the families, and you can get the catalog at heifer.org/gift.
I thought this would be a great lesson for him about both the fact that there are people in the world not as fortunate as him, and the importance of charity.

Does everyone remember Mamabing who started the recipes thread here in the lounge? Well, she gave me this link to some wonderful food products that they feature year-'round as well as Christmas Specialties.

Check out the World Vision gift catalogue where your xmas $$$ go to helping others. Great for that someone who has everything.
Last year we bought sports equpment for children in a 3rd world country in my F/I/L name this year we are most probably going to get a bicycle for a teacher for his Xmas present.
My eldest daughter and I instead of buying more junk for each other pool our money and purchase something that will benefit women and children in a community
In the USA go to donate.worldvision.org/OA_HTML/xxwv2ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=10401
Prices start at a mere $10 and you might just change someones life for the better
