Now they've done it......bashed immigrants with a costume. I don't know if those outside the NY Metro area saw this on the news but......the costume has an Alien's (space alien) head/mask..sometimes with a mustache (think Mexican) wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and carrying a GREEN CARD!

What are these idiots doing to our children? Sadly they are jumping off the shelves and people are laughing about it.

See I thought it was funny. If it's still there on Friday Im buying it!! IMO this is being totally blown out of proportion!! and I still think it's hillarious!!

and imo as to what we are teaching our kids is ...If you break the law you do the time!!imo as it should be!!Illegal immigrants are BREAKING OUR LAWS!! why should they have special treatment? If you can go to jail for smokin pot then ITA that if you are cought illegally in this country option 1. Put em on a bus plane ship(whatever) and send em back to wherever they came from or Option 2. Just lock em up, as the costume portrays in an orange jump suit! and a nice new home behind a locked cell(But imo 1 costs less.!

Little thought here - - if the costume is suppose to depict an "illegal" immigrant, they they must have missed a point - - if the costume comes with a green card - - then the immigrant/alien is not here illegally - - he has his green card!

It's fake. I think thats the whole point. to draw attn that it is breaking the law ie. the jump suit(I notice alot of people act like it's no big deal but it is. This country has a yearly Quata for immigrants granted permission to this country. Illegals set a bad example for those who go about it the right way. We need to remind our kids that if you break the law you have to pay for it and imo they are no different.

ITA! But we should also be teaching our kids that we have laws for a reason. We also need to remind our kids that no matter the intention our actions have consequences. IE if you break into this country Illegaly you are what? Breaking the law(and it shouldn't be ignored). What makes them so special that they don't have to follow the same laws as us(they cry bo hoo your pickin on us and 9 x out of 10 they get away with it! imo it's sick!!? what happens when we break the law? We get a ticket, fine , court, jailtime etc. Why should they be any different. That is what I think this teaches our kids and IMO I say Kudos to Target!!

LMAO...a good many Americans are descended from folks who came here illegally and aren't aware of it. How many people came through Ellis Island as a sister of a neighbor and was not a siser at all? A son whose family could not afford his passage posing as an immigrant's son of another family? Many. When you search your ancestry you would be surprised what risks our ancetors took two - three and four generations ago. Lucky for all of us that they did. How many lost their children as indentured servants in the 1709 great migration because their fathers died on the voyage or both parents were lost at sea? Queen Anne populated these colonies with starving citizens without a homeland..penniless from Germany and France who together with their ancestors made this country great. Prisoners were let out of jail for this purpose - to conquer the wilderness....here, in Ireland and Australia. History teaches us what brought us to where we are and it wasn't alwys through legal entry.
