Hello everyone! Have not ventured into the lounge forever!

Just wanting to get some ideas for a halloween costume...couples or non couples. So please post some ideas on what to be for Halloween.

I'm going out as a genie. I have the outfit, and will do the big blond ponytail and everything. I don't know about hubby, last year he went out as a YIKES a stripper cowboy. i'm going to have to suggest something this year but not him going as my master(tha't a no-no). We are having a halloween party at our home for 250 people.

Say WHAT???? Now that is scary!!! Hope one of those don't knock on my door!

Back in the day, my husband and I went as a bride and groom - he was the bride, I was the groom - we went to the salvation army store to buy our outfits...

We also went as two morning people, wore bathrobes, carried rolled up newspapers and coffee mugs, I had rollers in my hair, big ugly fuzzy slippers, he wore ugly men's pg's and slippers, we yawned a lot... we actually won 250 bucks that year!

But my favorite was the Priest and the Nun. He was the Priest, I was the Nun, he heard confessions, I smacked everybody with a ruler! We weren't irreverent because we're both Catholic, but we had a lot of fun!

I thought about taking my Aunt's advice--just go nude, only go in backwards and tell everyone you're a Parkerhouse roll. Either that, or just the nudity plus a couple of pineapples, as a cottage cheese salad. Cussed cellulite.

I remember one year I went as the girl from the Exorcist, that was a cheap and easy costume to put together.

This year trying to decide whether to go for the scary look or just go for something funny/creative.

We have a group of friends that we hang out with ALL of the time and I thought it would be funny to dress up as one of the other couples! For instance my husband has red hair and mine is blonde and shaggy...one of the couples...they both have dark brown hair, she has a bob and he has a beard and I thought it would be funny to show up as them...even with name tags? Is that funny or am I weird????? Maybe I should be thankful that we are doing an Octoberfest party this year instead!!!!
