Oh hi! I almost did not see this. My out of body experience was due to a car accident. I think my friends think that I was knocked out and dreaming the entire time but I swear it was all real. It was about 7 years ago..I was thrown from the car. I thought I was conscious yet thought it was odd I didn't feel anything...Nothing at all. I stood up and looked around and felt reeeealllly weird. I felt ..flimsy. As in not solid. It's so hard to explain it. I felt like If I moved, I could be ripped out of the position I was standing in and fly upward. The feeling really startled me. I slowly looked down and saw MY OWN BODY lying on the ground. It's strange but it's like I had a choice..I could try to move away or not. Quite frankly I was too scared of the "unknown" myself so I dropped back down and the next thing I remember is waking up in the ambulance with an oxygen mask on. They told me I was ok and never died or anything. Just said I was knocked out and although my body oxygen was not low, they put it on me just in case. The weird thing is that I saw everyone running around while I was standing in that spot, I saw the ambulance arrive - I saw my friends screaming and they said I must have woken up for a moment to see that..They seem to be able to explain away everything but I know it was real. I knew what the paramedics looked like so I immediately recognized the face of the man in the ambulance with me. Anyway that is what happened. Oh and when I got back into "my body" ..I remember it feeling heavy. That is something that stuck with me. As if it were a shell. My psychic told me that it's a good thing I was not hijacked by another soul or had another soul attach on to me. She says dark spirits particularly like to do that and dominate for control in hopes you are weaker than they are. Even worse are demons..They look for vulnerable moments in humans to take over hence exorcisms. Good souls or souls exiting our world do not have a tendency to do this. So she says. I kind of wondered how would I know if a dark soul attached or not..She says I would start to feel overcome by their dark energy. She says I may also feel as if another presence is around at all times. Freaky eh?

Quote HOT PINK: I've had several personal psychic experiences so, yes, I believe. At a funeral in 1997, my dad's brother and I were walking to the gravesite together. I stepped on a grave and got an electric shock that started on the bottom of my foot and went up my entire body. I looked down and saw that I was standing on my Uncle Gene's grave. I exclaimed, "Oh, my God, I'm standing on Uncle Gene," and my Uncle Bill replied, "Well, Gene's just telling you to get the hell off him!"

I've always known when there's something wrong with people I'm close to, and I am usually waiting by the phone when a family member or close friend dies. Sure wish I could channel my psychic energies into picking the winning powerball lottery numbers!

One man had gone to a pyschic for a long time and she had told him he was going to win the lottery. And for years he kept playing and eventually he won 14 million. He said the only reason he kept playing was because he was told he was going to win. Hot Pink, have any visions of yours ever been on a positive note, i notice as well I usually get a feelin when something bad is coming. sometimes good things happen, but not often. I think that's why I'd hate to be psyhcic, because that would mean delivering good and bad news.

Greek Godess - I have had a few good visions. Knew the exact moment to the second my three year-old grandson was born. And, I always knew the second I got pregnant with both of my sons. My ex had a "psychic" reading when we lived in Phoenix and the woman told him he'd be with another woman within five years. Sure enough, he made sure that "psychic" was right and left me and our son for another woman. He didn't believe in God, but he sure believed that "psychic"!

No that is what is weird..I didn't see anything either way. I guess that's why I felt like it was an accident that I was separated from my body. I did wonder about the light thing and my psychic says that it happened so fast and it was not my time. In her cards she said it was definitely not my time at that moment and that is probably why I was in and out so fast - the entire thing was probably a fluke which can happen ..She says this is not uncommon b/c that is how other spirits, even demons hijack. They come in at a vulnerable moment because it's like a brief opening or window for them. It's another reason she will not speak of someones time and typically stays away from telling them about anything negative she sees. She will give warnings and hints when it comes to those things but that's about it. She says after seeing her fair share of dark energy, she chooses to stay away because it's very powerful and also yields more power than people realize.

I had some friends once that took a Ouija board into a cemetary..I DID not go. She says to NEVER do this. EVER. She doesn't like Ouija boards as they are an invitation to dark forces/ energy. I guess she sees it as like "asking for it"..Anyway one friend that particpated in this was never the same after. She just didn't seem like herself anymore. Just depressed alot and more pessimistic overall. She commited suicide 2 years later. My psychic says although she is no longer with us and can not confirm, she believes it was related. I will never touch a Ouija board - graveyard or not.

Did it change my life? Yeah..In the way that it's made me more in tune with things around me and instilled an even deeper belief of the spiritual world. I also feel I have a sixth sense when it comes to situations and people that developed after. Something else hard to explain..If I'm around certain people I can pick up certain vibes about them and that sort of dictates if I want to continue any interaction. I think I feel their overall energy I guess.

On another subject, I read something today that said that if you have a spirit in your house they either lived there or they chose to be near you specifically because they are afraid of something and won't cross over. Has anyone heard anything like this?

Quote Greek Godess: That is good to hear that your ability has brought to positive moments. that sucks hot pink, sometimes I think that when we do see psychics that predict something. Sometimes we anticipate what they say to happen so we sabotage ourselves and think well this is what she said would happen. I wonder if your ex- husband had not benn told that would he have done things differently or made different choices. My psychic says they see what they see and things can change in your destiny, but we always have a choice and we always have to remember that. sometimes i've gotten so wrapped up into what she says sometimes i don't take the proper action, or make the best choice in my life based on what she says. Now i do the best i can to take what she says with a grain of salt and life my life. It can be great to have the ability to see positive things happen, and I enjoy when that happens, but at the same time it can be scary to have the ability, because not all is good.

I remember getting a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when he told me about it, and knew in my heart it was only a matter of time before he left. Oh well, it was his loss. You are so right about life being full of choices and it is up to us to make the right ones for ourselves. We shouldn't let others determine things for us. It is scary sometimes knowing that something bad is about to happen. But, it is also a wonderful feeling when you know something good is going to happen and then it does.
