I'm curious if anyone on this board believes in psychics. I have gone to one a few times and everything she tells me has come true. I've had to say nothing to her. she was able to see things from the past, present, and some in the near future. Has anyone on this board every gone to one, and what was your thoughts or experience on it?

I've gone to physhics as part of a group, but I'm soooo left brained that I have difficulty comprehending anything that I can't logically understand. I hate to admit that I've never had a thing come true. Can't wait to see what other responses reveal.

I'm curious is anyone ever had a paranormal experience?

No, altho I think I went to one at a carnival one time. My mother was a great believer in all that stuff and of the supernatural. She even claimed she had a spiritual guide who was an Indian carrying a Papoose. I don't know where she would be guiding her - she never said.

I think the trick is to see what they reveal themselves. Some will ask you questions and then feed you with responses. Most of the predictions have come true, her timing was off, but I think that is one thing hard to predict. What i like about the women I've gone to is that even if it's not the best news, she words it in such a way it's bearable to take. I think some have that special gift, others as you've put it gommie are quacks!

I also am a firm believer. Never thought I would be in a million years. I went to a few who just made me roll my eyes and walk out writing the whole thing off as crazy. That was until I met THE one. This woman asks you nothing what-so-ever other than your date of birth. She knew things that no one could have known. Everything she said was right on. The really amazing thing was that she told me I had two dogs on male and one female. I was shocked because I do. Then she told me that my male dog was going to get sick but not to worry because he would be ok. She said that is was something to do with his hearing or ears. One month later I was at the vet with my dog who had an ear infection. Personal things she knew just shocked me. I mean really personal things that no one knew. I believe that 99.9% of them are quacks but if you are fortunate enough to find the other 1% you will be amazed.

My very first experience was the best ever - a woman in santa barbara- named peggy kahn(she is now a resident of harmony grove in escondido)anyway I went to her home - her price was $15- she would not touch the money- had me lay on a table...she told me she was going to say a prayer and go into a trance and that I was not to speak unless she asked me a question-- she started off with how much my m-i-l is always with me- (she had passed and I never knew her) she said she is so grateful for the happiness I had brought to her son's life, and that she is always with me

now this is where it gets spooky

anyway peggy said to me, "you have some jewelry that was your m-i-l's on a top shelf in your closet(which I did and no one knew about it- not even my husband) goose bumps were running amok all over me--anyway she said you m-i-l is saying that the next time you are having a disagreement with her son, that you need to go get a piece of her jewelry and put it on and she can help you resolve the disagreement-- I was like oh my--- so she continued on and pretty much everything after that just kind of got lost- I was still so taken aback-- anyway at one point she slumped over and grabbed her side- she said I see you having major surgery for a female problem fall of next year-- I didn't pay too much attention -I was still focusing on the jewelry- anyway-the fall of the following year I did indeed have major surgery for an ovarian tumor-- I had forgotten about what peggy told me-- but my friend who had gone with me and had a reading from peggy the same day- came to visit me in the hospital and said omg- peggy told you this was going to happen- I said omg she did your right---I had forgotten all about it----

I haven't been to one in such a long time-- I saw james van prague a few back and that was a bit disappointing--

I went early this year with a friend to a place downtown that supposedly is the best there is -what a hoot--- the worst reading I have ever had and I have had plenty-

Yep that is exactly what the real ones can do. Everything I was told either had happened or did happen right down to a job I would be getting in another state. I had no intentions of even changing jobs but within a year there I was just as she said. She told me my mom was very sick and she had a stroke soon after. The woman has moved away and I will not even try anyone else. It would disappoint me I am afraid.

I know exactly how you feel- I keep looking for another Peggy -but have not found her yet- I would drive to escondido to have a reading with her-but she is not doing them anymore--like you -there were so many things she told me that no one else knew about--
