1919-The cinn reds won the World Series , defeating the Chicago White Sox... (the victory turned hollow amid charges eight of the White Sox had thrown the Series in what became known as the Black Sox scandal.

1888-the public was first admitted into the Washington Mon.

1930-Laura Ingalls became the first woman to fly across the U.S. as she completed a nine stop journey from Long Island to Glendale CA.

1999-In boxings first battle of the sexes, Margaret Macgregor defeated Loi Chow by winning all four rounds on all three judges cards in a promotion held in Seattle.

2004-a tour bus from the Chicago area flipped in AR killing 15 people headed to a MS casino.

yes she was a one hit wonder... heck i wouldnt mind 1 hit... get a little change, and when they play it get some too... if Kim can do it with "Tardy For the Party" then there is hope for me yet...
