Of several factors used to calculate the brain-healthfulness of the foods each state eats, sales of fish and DHA-fortified foods were weighed most heavily; they made up 10 percent and 12 percent, respectively, of the diet score. Measures of the population's physical health accounted for 25 percent of each state's overall score; mental health accounted for 24 percent; and social well-being 15 percent.
Any surprises for anyone?

LOL...you are brave putting NJ and the word genius in the same sentence...((ducking Chy's shoe))
Well, I guess being comfortably in the middle means we purchase most of our DHA/fish products from the Highest 10 states--Washington state, Maine, etc.
I'm not surprised to see most of the states listed in the 10 Worst---those poor fish don't see anything but a hot skillet with bubbling grease...

OH CRAP! I don't want cement shoes from the likes of you, missy!
Hey...maybe the SC Gov can take a hike on the Appalachia trail for some fish to send back to SC...hmmm, that's one way to get off the worst brain list...I think...
