Bing! Binghamton.....did ya know the Skelletts? Spent many summers (August really - haying season) up there with these relatives.

Sorry I missed your post....
I do not know the Skellets. Where were you?? Were you in Binghamton or near by??? I am in Montrose, Pa. Just across the stateline. We do almost sll our shopping & business in Binghamton & Endicott & Vestal ... All in New York!!

The lived on farms in Binghamton...another in a Binghamton suburb area...another in Johnson City....another near the Airport. Many summer's up there as a chid..less as a teen preferring the ocean near our home during the summers. Great people up that way.....homey...real....great scenery and the air smelt like potpouri! LOL

Rode a tractor many times..and horses bareback....learned to shoot a rifle (first time landed on my butt)....and from my Aunt....how to bake...and bake...and bake....delicious......grow a garden and all her secrets...canning....oh so many memories are flooding back.
