Men! Politicians, media hounchos, executives, all of them make me believe it wasn''t Eve who disobeyed God and ate that apple. Men just want us to believe that!

The sad thing about all of the scandals being exposed is that nobody is shocked any more. We've become so immune to sexual scandals, lies, corruption, etc. that with each additional exposure we all shake out heads and say "shame on them." How sad....

At least David was one up on the politicians. He wasn't married like all the rest of them where. Funny we never hear of women caught up in these type scandals. Either a lot more morals or a lot more brains. My guess is both.

I don't care what someone does in their personal life. But the way he announced it in a nonchalant manner rubbed me the wrong way. He totally has that old boys way of thinking when it comes to women and men.

The women may be just a little smarter and haven't got caught yet would be my guess/

I don't think it was appropriate for him to be having sexual relationships with his employees. However, it is my understanding that at least he was single at the time. He was single for decades before getting married. (If I have that info correctly....)

I'm not sure how recent these escapades were, but Letterman was in a committed relationship for many years before they married earlier this year. I believe they have a young child. If his affairs were prior to his lont-time girlfriend moving in with him, I suppose that makes it a little less sleazy.

I think Harry is 5 and they married either right before or right after he was born. He was probably not marrid.
I don't think he was nonchalant about his case. I think he was wise to go on the offensive rather than wait for the papers and tabloids to break it and speculation run rampant. If there was coersion, it is wrong. If it was consenting adults????? What is there to say?

i tend to think it was between consenting adults, no women have come forward to stake a claim of any kind, emotional damages or whatever, the fact is, he wasn't married, he came out like a man, didn't drag his wife into it, i don't condone what he did but i respect the way he handled it

Don't know if it's just me, but I don't see anything wrong with Dave having relationships with any of these women. He dated them before he was married, so what's the big deal? I didn't think he had to say anything about his love life to any of us because it's none of our business. But, I'm happy with the way he laid it out there on his show so no one would get all media nutty trying to crucify over having sex with former girlfriends. It's not like this is a big shock that some people in their workplace have relations with each other.

I look at it like this...Dave is not one of those "moral before God and my wife" politicians who say one thing in public, but act entirely different in private. Those are the ones that need to be called out more harshly, not the host of a talk show!

I dont really think its any of our business either. But I do watch his show so I am a little interested. He was in a committed relationship so thats not right, but I guess it was before his son was born. I am glad Dave just admitted what he did and did not give into blackmail, I think that guy is the sleazeball in this mess. I think he needs to work this out with his wife, or the courts or both, not with the public.

I saw him last night for the first time and you know what...I'm with you...it just seemed so fake.

Sorry, but the guy looked like he justed wanted to be one up on the one who was blackmailing him.

Very tacky the way he did it. Then I flicked it and rolled my eyes......He's too much.

Wonder if the same people he slept with on his staff still work for him. They make sex seem so "nonchalant"....and with your staff too....wierd.

After the perverted things he said about Sarah Palins teen-aged daughter, is this suprising to anyone?

This did not occur while he was single....the girls diary said it happened as recently as last year.

His "apology" was insincere and all he did was make a big joke out of the whole thing.

He is a pervert and should be banned from television.

BTW, I never found him funny even before all of this came out. What in the world do people see in this creep?
