1919-President Woodrow Wilson suffered a serious stroke at the White House that left him paralyzed on his left side.

1950-the comic strip peanuts created by Charles Schulz, was syndicated to seven newspapers.

1959-Rod serling's Twilight zone, made its tv debut.

1967-Thurgood Marshall was sworn as an associated justice of the U.S. supreme court.

1985-Rock Hudson died at age 59 after battling AIDS

2006-an armed milk truck driver took a group of girls hostage in an Amish schoolhouse in Nickel Mines, PA, killing five of them and wounding five others before commiting suicide.

1999-The brooklyn Museum of Art opened its much hyped sensation exhibit which had drawn controversy.. Mayor Guliani's move to cut off city funding to the museum... He objected to the artwork, one of which was the Virgin Mary decorated with elephant dung.

Rod Serling was from Binghamton, Ny... just up the road from us about 15 miles. They celebrate him every year!! When I was a child I just loved The Twilight Zone!!

Twilight Zone scared me.... as do lots of things like that... im not a horror fan.... some epics were ok, sorta weird... i think it was way ahead of its time... now that i look back...

Hey Ospery... i was hoping you would sang --snap... it is gettin kinda hectic...

Brian Mcnight is supposed to have his own talk show... forgot when its debut....

so is monique... i think on monday.... her and wendy williams will be coming on at the same time... here...

Really? Brian is getting his own talk show? What is he going to talk about, his smoldering good looks, world peace?

Seems like everyone and their grandpappy are getting deals for talk shows.

I don't think Monique's show will last very long...or I should say, not past 5 seasons...

Wendy's remains to be seen--she got renewed for a 2nd season, I think.

Who's Next---the duck from the Aflac commercials?

We're going to a commercial break but we're be AFLAC-right back...
