and other food/drink items? I mean really as if taxing the crap outta ciggs wasn't bad enough(I don't smoke them by the way). Like thats gonna stop those who want them! When are people gonna take responsibility for themselves? Im a size 14/16 have been since I was around 21, and when my clothes start to get snug I cut back on my food and try to exercise(as little as possible )! whereas many others buy new clothes and complain about their food. People need to stop expecting others to do everything for us we have brains and need to use them!!imo

In NYS bottled or can soda is taxable. Has been or the longest time. But then again NYS taxes the air you breathe! LOL

DCORN, congrats on being smoke-free for 123 days & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I have been smoke free now for over 14 years, my anniversary is JUNE 30th. I'm looking forward to the day that YOU will be saying the same thing to someone else. Take it one day at a time, it really is great to be able to taste your food, not have your clothes smell like cigs, and even go down the laundry aisle in a grocery store and be able to smell all the scents. KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK and CONGRATS, again.

They want to add an extra tax to it. The way I heard was similar to ciggs. So instead of paying under $2.00 for your soda it could be $6.00 or more Thats crazy!!
