Just a little off topic here, but I do have to laugh at what you said. I went to Catholic schools through all my school years - - and a Catholic girls school for my junior and senior years. Fortunately my parents were able to afford it but I can remember my mother telling my sister and I that she would not be able to afford it if there were no uniforms. I know where you are coming from - - if you could afford Catholic school - - it would be great not to have to buy school clothes for the kids, eh?

I also taught CCD for two years and I applaud you for doing that because you obviously want your kids brought up in the Catholic church. I can imagine CCD is very different now than when I taught it - - so many things have changed in the Church.

Back on topic - - oh well - - never mind with that now!

I went to catholic school too. and public As a teen I wanted to go to public so bad so my senior year my mom let me and i have to say now as an adult while that year was a blast i didn't learn much! imo Catholic school is better! My boys r both alter servers and once my daughter does first comm this year she wants too as well(my mom is not happy about this) oh well. I think for my family at least it is very important in this day and age to raise them in the catholic faith just as i was! im calling it a night ttyl
