A U.S. Census worker found hanging from a tree near a Kentucky cemetery had the word "fed" scrawled on his chest, a law enforcement official said Wednesday, and the FBI is investigating whether he was a victim of anti-government sentiment.

Will people NOW start to realize that the lunatic fringes in this country who hate government are not playing with a full deck of cards? Domestic terrorism is what this is...so sad, poor guy, just trying to do his job and go home to his family...

how awful for his family, things need to change right now

Did anyone read who found him? I read that he was found Sept. 12 in a remote patch of the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky. Nothing about who discovered the body or why this is just now being released??

On the radio this morning it said that he was discovered by people in the cemetery. When I heard it, it made me shiver...how sad...it reminded me of a news story I heard earlier either this year or last of a social worker getting tied up and killed on a routine visit. Scary world we live in.

How awful for this poor guy's family. I can't imagine why someone would hang a census worker, it just doesn't make sense. I hope his family can eventually heal and may he rest in peace.

I actually live in the county that he was found in...I was very shocked to hear this and very saddened that this happened!!!

so many crazy people out there, and then you have fox news and talk radio inciting people, i pray for obama and his family's safety, don't know what people will do if they aren't happy with the government
