During his question and answer period with George Stephanopoulos, Mr. President replied when asked about ACORN. "Frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely,"I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money." Mr. President looked uninformed, unaware, and ignorant of what has been going on. The money, that the president is unaware of being provided to ACORN, is paid by the tax payers of America. And, the millions of dollars paid, and the billions of dollars scheduled to be paid, to ACORN, may not be significant amounts to the President, but it is to all of us, as we are the ones who's pockets are being picked by the government. Mr. President better be paying attention to the Political Corruption going on in this country-- |

He didn't know???Do you think he was telling the truth- I don't, and if he was then it's even more unbelievable-- If minimizing what ACORN has been doing for the last 15 years, breaking the laws and taking government funds to the tune of 53 million currently-with 8 billion allotted from the stimulus package- they have had well over 30 convictions for voter fraud in their ranks over the last 10 years- the leader was able to embezzle 1 million dollars 10 years ago and he remained in his position until this year when his embezzling traits became public knowledge- I am not comfortable with the president having intimate ties (remember how his life experience had been a community organizer for Acorn-he worked side by side with them) with an organization that is obviously as corrupt as this one is- if you are comfortable with it, that is your choice. I am sure most Americans realize,that when we hired a chicago politician to be president there would be some unsavory baggage that would come with- |

Every single false voter registration done by an ACORN employye was flagged by ACORN and turned in by ACORN and the employee fired! The leader embezzeled one million and was only replaced this year...wrong! The current head of ACORN is a woman who has had the position for the past two years! The President was a community activist for ACORN...wrong!!! Stop watching Glenn Beck...you might actually find the truth! |

The corruption in the Acorn organization is so egregious that both the House and Senate voted to withhold further government funding.....that is a FACT. |

The Department of justice is finally launching an investigation. Maybe they will reveal that there are only a few bad apples in Acorn,but its shocking to me that it took this long to finally look into the claims. |

gommie - You know I loathe ALL of his political policies, but I think he is doing what most presidents would do – DENY, DENY, DENY. But in this case, it is more obvious. The man spouts speeches every second and does his finest to appear knowledgeable and forthcoming, and all of a sudden he has no idea? Puh-leeaaze. |
