On her show today, Ellen remarked about all the criticism regarding her being qualified as a judge. She was absolutely hilarious! One remark was that she was definitely qualified to be a judge because she is always being judged! She, as usual, was gracious and said she doesn't even read all the negative things people are saying about her and when somebody tries to tell her, she tells them she just doesn't want to hear it. She is a very positive and giving person and says she cannot undertand, with all the changes in the world, that people can still be so negative.

I agree with her - - I think that people who have nothing else to do in life but criticize others must be pretty miserable people. Very little constructive criticism in these days.

Someone who isn't involved in the music industry and nows nadda about it should not be judging a show to find new singers! imo they should've askes another SINGER to take Paula's place!! I would've loved to see someone like Cher or Tina Turner!! imo her vote is of no consequence.

American Idol has officially jumped the shark....

I like Ellen and American idol, I dont watch idol that much, but still like it. I usually catch idol rewind it comes on the weekends late at night.

I havent seen it with kara I dont think I am missin much. I will miss Paula the show wont be the same. I think its stupid if she really left over money, geez how much money does one need! Well maybe we will find out in 10 20 years what really happened with paula and all the other hidden idol scandals!

I think Ellen is what Idol needs. Ellen is fun fun fun....you don't need to be singer to realize talent.

Ellen will give it the spunk in that panel they need.

Sorry, but I don't now why Paula thought she deserved more...or better like she's the one that makes the show. Paula was trainwreck.....she had to go....glad it was her choice too.
