Hubby just called and said an associate of his was on the news.... apparantly he went to one of our local schools, running thru the halls, and saying repent etc... and preaching, and just acting out.... he has a history of mental problems... in any case the police were called, i guess he was gone and now has been apprehended.... my husbands cousin said it was on the 12noon local news... guess they will replay at 5 and 6.... our schools are so essessible it aint even funny... hubby took me to an unexpected lunch... went to Golden Corral.... That is some drama!  But it could have been something a lot worse the way things are lately. Hope they can help the poor guy.

Speaking of the rain, I live in a Northwest agricultural area near a large Indian reservation. We are subject to droughts every so often. During the last bad one about 7 or 8 years ago, the local Indian Nation offered to perform the rites and a Rain Dance for $20,000. No one took them up on it, and we don't even know if they were serious. They have a kickin' sense of humor sometimes, although it can be pretty subtle. |

Edited to say, the sun is finally out hey Gh... just seen ya in this one.... no problem, about the day... conversation is still good... hmmm... at Golden Corrall ,,, what didnt i have..... it is like a buffet of things..... tomato rice, hamburger steak, fish, pizza, roast beef.and potatoes..... few other things i forget..... sweet potato casserole.... now i pick over my food, so when it looks like im going back 4 or 5 times, i really dont have a full plate.... kind of like little dinky portions of lota stuff...KIR.... THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS... i so enjoy your encouraging words, and your spunky posts in the YR board.... and you definately do KEEP IT REAL... |
