Have you tried Trillium? Hopefully my Dad gets it soon, his meds cost him $300 per month! Good luck.

I can't imagine what Crystal must have gone through when she worked in that factory and finally had enough with she and her co-workers being treated like dirt...one simple sign...U-N-I-O-N...that was a powerful scene by Sally Field.

It's heartbreaking to know that Crystal couldn't get the timely treatment that she need from her healthcare provider, considering she had spent so many years advocating for worker rights, including healthcare coverage.

People who complain about white out making them dizzy or getting paper cuts should spend a day in the factory Crystal and millions of people work in---it doesn't compare by a long shot.

My medications would be over $650 per month IF I was able to get them. No insurance then you just do without. Last rx I was presribed I thought might possibly be generic. WRONG! I got to the pharmacy and it was $293 for 30 days for this one med. Had to tell the pharmacist to return it to stock cause I could not afford it. Then I called my dr and asked it there was any kind of substitute that was generic. He said no but I needed that med badly. I told him that was just too bad for me and to mark that rx off my chart because that was not a possiblility. Also supposed to be on bp meds as well as cholesteral and a couple more meds. No isurance again so no meds. Have no idea how I am doing because can't afford the $200 office visit to see the doctor. But then again I would rather not know. If you can't afford to treat a condition that could kill you then I think I would be better off not knowing. Most people would rather die not knowing they could have been saved but for the cost of insurance to get the treatment they needed. People who can see a doctor and afford the meds they need don't know how lucky they are. I am sure they will have a healthier life with medical care. The rest will just survive as long as they can and then thats it.
