OH MY I just heard that Patrick Swayze died today after a long battle of pancreatic cancer....Rest in Peace Patrick

I did hear that the last few months were extremely painful for him. It's sad he had to go through all that pain...

Yes, it is- hard to understand a lot of the time- Pancreatic Cancer is very painful- I lost a friend to it and her struggle was crushing to watch-

If you are referring to the series "The Beast" I read that A&E will not renew it for a second season.

I just read this & it is sooo sad I loved Patrick and he was a amazing actor in Ghost..one of my favorite movies of all time

Oh No! Although we all knew it was near. He was only 57 years old. I fell in love with him with "Dirty Dancing" and must have watched that move 100 times!

And God love him, he just kept going and acting while he was so ill. Very few people have that stamina.

He fought so hard and was determined to lick this thing. Of course treatment for pancreatic cancer is not usually successful and I was so afraid for him, yet so hopeful. So sorry - the world has lost a great talent but his family has lost a great deal more.
