I hate what he did to that poor nineteen year girl that actually writes her own songs. She did deserve that award. Beyonce's video was nothing but her and two other chicks dancing around against a white backdrop to a crappy, irritating song. Taylor's song and video were way better and the award went to the right person. I am so tired of people celebrating that no talent hack.

everyone has their taste in music.... the debate isnt who's was better...it is about Kanye behavior which was unacceptable.... you like who you like...

It should not matter if a mute was getting an award for best vocalist.......SHOW SOME RESPECT!!!

Kayne West is a tasteless a$$hole! He is a bully and needs to sit down and shut his mouth.....FOR ONCE.

I am not a fan of his and after last night I will no longer give him a second thought, he does not deserve the millions of dollars he makes. But, I guess that proves the point, even with all the $$$$ in the world, it cannot buy you some class.

I think it was all a pre-planned stunt between West and MTV..they are known for setting these thigs up at their award shows to get publicity. Or maybe West did it alone to get his name in the news. I think it was all planned though..

I didn't watch the show, but have seen news clips all morning. What a total egotistical, bore! Apparently he'll steal anyone's spotlight in order to get the focus on him. Beyonce was the total opposite - very giving and gracioius. He should make a public apology!

If Kanye's intention was to draw attention to himself he certainly did it.Personally,I like both singers and they both deserved it.But lets face it Taylor Swift won.All Kanye did was make himself look like an A$$.I used to listen to his music but after all the things he's pulled he lost a fan.If I was Beyonce i'd be having some words with him bc I would be embarassed.Show some respect bc I'm positive if someone did that to him if he won he would be furious.

I know it's not about who deserved it Just stating my opinion. It was rude and can apologize all he wants, but he is not getting any of my respect.

Oh this just angers me... how rude and messed up of that CREEP to do that to Taylor.it was very unprofessional! end of story i know its the MTV awards but this was too much. he think's he is better than anyone..please what a joke!! this only made me hate him more.

I know how rude. I have only caught the news clips today. To actually go onstage and interrupt her thank you's. Wow. It would have been one thing if he won and said beyonce had the best video. But he told Taylor pretty much to her face that someone else derserves her award.

As far as who should have actually won I really dont know. Taylors video is sweet with a nice storyline, but beyonce's video must have took a lot of work so I give them credit for that. She won video of the year anyway so its not like she was overlooked. I thought that was good to call taylor up to have her moment, but it still doesnt make up for kanyes actions.

I was never really a big fan of either Kanye's or Swift, they are ok just not really my style, but I wil always have a tainted image of kanye now. So if I was on the edge of being a fan, no more.

Apparently Kanye was to just perform on Jay Leno's debut show tonight, but since the controversal interruption of Taylor Swifts acceptance speech..he will now be interviewed. Kenye should be ashamed of himself....expect to hear his *cough* sincere apology.
