hi everyone.

just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on Kanye's ridiculous outburst and disrespect to taylor swift.

It was a classic example of no class....followed up by Beyonce's class.

Why would we expect more from him though after his Katrina speech about Bush though?

Kanye shouldnt have done that.... we all have our faves in awards shows..... he was truly disrespectful.... Kudo's to Beyonce for her class.... That is why B is so far above...

Kanye is just jealous....

It was not the first time he has made a scene at an awards show, however it is usually because he didn't win!! They should not even allow him to attend, his mean ways and things that he says about other people should not be allowed, he only wants some attention and he can't get it by being good, so he gets it by being bad!! taylor and Beyonce actions speak volumns...now that is class for you, he should get a clue from those two ladies!!

well, personally i have never heard anything by Taylor Swift.... so Kanye did her a favor unintentionally.... alot of folks are gonna check out some of her music just to see... she has been put more in the spotlight by Kanye's mess....

Hi!!! Well I hated the way he did it but honestly I was thinking the same thing he said. Imo no way did Taylor win that award for real. I mean I don't think she knew it but someone somewhere had to have pulled some strings for her. Again this is jmo but there is no way she could have won a MTV video award much less the #1 when the video has never even been shown by MTV. She was up against some big name stars who's videos have made billions more than hers and been played billions more times. It was the 1st time I ever saw the kid. I am sure she is good and will go far in country music but the truth is that the ones up for the award she got would never be allowed to even be in the CMT awards so I really don't think that is fair that she could cross over but not them. I feel sorry for her but no way did her highschool chearleader song win best video of the year. I am sure many like me who keep up with music have never seen or heard that video at all. I was wth? and who is that? I might not have said it but I like the majority there feel that her teeny bobber video was not even in the race with Beyonce's. I just don't understand why they put her in that position anyway. They should have know people would know it was rigged. I am sure she will do good at CMT awards and that is ok with me. jmo

I don't think he did her a favor. Maybe a few people might check her out now. But she outsells both Beyonce and Kanye so I don't think she needed the publicity. Besides she won the award people would have checked her out anyways.

I don't think he will be banned because MTV loves drama. But I think some gesture of sincere apology is needed. Not some ramblings at 2 am.

Beyonce was definately a class act though.

Funny thing. sometimes I don't like half of the nominees. but this year i loved all of those songs. i was happy all of those women were nominated because they all rock. or atleast they are all on my ipod. lol

A nice thing to do for her, is not cause a scene like that in the first place. She has won many, many awards in her short time on the music scene, maybe a lot of you do not listen to country, but she is a big money maker. The saddest thing to me about it all, is that it was disrespectful to Beyonce as well as Taylor, he owes them both an apology and this time one that he is really feeling. Just should have never happened..

i didnt see the whole show but i did see the clip of kanye rudely interuptin taylors moment ta shine an it really wuz very rude~~ i really felt sorry fer her, she just stood thier so calmly~ it wuz very kind of beyonce ta handle the whole situation with soo much class~~

Wonder how he would feel if it were him up there recieving an award and the host grabs his mic from his hand and comments on let's say Justin Timberlakes awesome video. I bet he'd be furiuos! I actually hope someone does it to him!! Pay back's a _itch!! Also what is up with celebrities and such posting an apology. How lame is that! I tell my kids "I'm sorry." are only useless words unless you actually mean them!! And I honestlt doubt Kaye meant it!! POOR Taylor! Good Job Honey and don't you worry the right singer won that award! And that moron isn't worth your time anyway!!!

Edited to add. She doesn't need extra publicity she already is well known enough all on her own @17 years old!! Lot's of people know who Taylor Swift is!!And she is a great role model for young girls as she knows she soesn't have to be 1/2 naked in her videos(and such) to sell music!!(I actually found that comment quite rude). My daughter is a huge fan and now even more after Taylor was in the Hannanh Montanah movie. I know lots of people who like her music. Beyonce is okay (IMO) but as a country fan Taylor (imo) is much better!! I have younger kids so the stations that play most Beyonce (and Actually the morons music as well) aren't listened to in my house(or car) since Im all set with my kids hearing songs about riding a disco stick and such!! If it's on Cat country or radio Disney Thats what we listen too!

Kanye is a loser. He should go somewhere and never come back.
