Find a number for a domestic abuse shelter. You can give it to her and present your case for why she should go. Google battered women syndrome so you know some facts that you can actually give her. prepare yourself to be a shoulder and a source of strength. I know you are religious....pray, arm yourself with knowledge and prepare. |

Quote dcorn: That is pretty hard to hear. I guess all you can do is hope that your sister in law is ok, and maybe she will either leave him, or they can go to councelling together. I know you must feel so helpless to sit and wait, but try to do the best you can. Hopeful that a** had the decency to not let their children see that, that would be tramatic and painful. Is this the first time it has happened?

DCORN... hon, i just saw your post this morning.... I hope your sister in law is ok... they need to take his butt to jail.... I know it will be hard, but she needs to do what's best for her and the children.... |

well, last night, he went to jail. my sister-n-law hand was swelled up from him. i am not sure what he did to her hand. |
