All this talk about chickens- I have been cooking chickens in my crock pot for two days now- while I was boning them I kept coming across the 'wish bone' anyone remember that- or was it just something my folks did? When we had fried chicken everyone wanted the 'wish bone' - as I recall it required two people who each took an end- the trick was to pull on your end and the one who got the shorter piece got good luck or bad, don't remember and had to wash dishes or something like that- |

It's kind of the same with those big ol' double carriage gravel trucks around here. I met one head on, coming at me while crossing a double-line curve as he was passing three cars. There was no shoulder for me to escape to - don't ask me what happened, but I squeeked in between him and the cars he was passing - talk about angels on your shoulder!!! I cannot drive down that same road anymore. |

After a few years we gave up trying cause my big brother always took it away from us. Then we started just hanging them across the curtain rod in grandmas kitchen out of sight. Got quite a collection till she took the curtains down to wash them. |

Definately the big side wins. I always look at it good, find a crack and hold the opposite side way way down low and dont pull too hard let the other person pull harder then you. When i did it with my son i swear i'd hold it higher and pull and win too........now watch because i just bragged about it i'll never win again LOL |

No not the same size but thank God they finally started buying them instead of the old back yard grab you one and cook it up. That bothered me really bad. It didn't taste as good when it was someone you knew on your plate. |

Quote gommie: Quote shirley 2: Quote wannazach: Quote shirley 2: Wanna did you know that i have been in a car accident No, what happened? Where you in your truck? Did you get hurt. Every one knows but you and Sunny can't seem to catch up with you and her. A log truck ran me off of this narrow road down toward Blackwater, i got a big cut across the nose from my sunglasses and a cut on my right arm and a few brusies, and no i was in my jeep. It didn't hurt it all that much i have it in the body shop all ready. Needs a finder and a mirror and signal light Boy are you lucky- the angels must have been riding on your shoulder- those loggin trucks scare the devil out of me- we used to travel those little narrow roads up in the gold country and when those trucks passed by everything went My jeep cheerokee can be fixed and my nose and eye is already healed but my arm still looks awful, it has scabed over but still draining |
