I'm sure that the "other" so-called news outlets will not be showing this video. If anyone wants to see the degradation that our country (which means the tax payers) is paying for......Watch Fox news or on the web.....Foxnews.com or Drudgereport.com or on talk radio.

This is an outrage!

Sorry to disappoint...it was all over CNN last night.

I sure didn't see it, and I kept looking - there is nothing prominent on their website either-??

It was on, Gommie~it's the only channel I watched last night and I saw a segment where their employee (a woman), was telling them to list their job title as "performance artist" instead of prostitute. There was also something about them bringing in young girls from another country who were underage, and she was telling them that they could get tax credit for them because they were under 16...disgusting!

OK~if you go onto their site and type in ACORN under in the search box, you will see this title come up:

ACORN workers caught on tape allegedly advising on prostitution updated 19 hours, 23 minutes ago

Don't you think it is just sad that you have to go to the 'News Channel site and do a search' for this story-OMG -it should be front and center- it just sickens me--

Well, it was on a couple of times last night because I only saw a part of it, and then the rest a bit later.
I have on local news now but will check it out later to see if they're still airing it.

The whole thing is just unbelievable~

Sometimes I really believe that the media plays into all this political junk so much that they really have an affect on how the mood of the country turns. It seems that every time President Obama gives an awesome speech the media gets hung up on something ridiculous and ignores the power of his words. During the campaign he gave an incredible speech, something so inspiring that it brought tears to your eyes. McCain announced he picked Palin (god only knows why) and the media was all over that. The Republicans deliberately stole Obama's thunder and the press went with it. Now some idiot (sorry but that is what he is) yells out "liar" during another wonderful speech and who is the media talking about. I wish one station would have came out and said "yes, some jerk interrupted the President's speech but we are not going to waste time talking about him. Instead we are going to talk about what the President said." I think Wilson went there knowing exactly what he was going to do - it was not spontaneous. The media fell into his trap.
I just wish everyone would give the President a chance to do what he was elected to do. Bring about Change!

What is really so bad about what the President is asking for? I am not Democrat or Republican - I am just looking for someone to do the right thing. I understand that once someone takes office things change, they cannot do everything they promised. The last administration lied to us, used scare tactics on us and the whole atmosphere was dark, (not willing to talk to those we disagreed with, torture, etc.) When Obama was elected he seemed to bring light with him. I just want to give the man a chance. Our last President took us to war and it cost us too much - lost lives, broken families, injured, the deficit, etc.
We gave him 8 years and we are in such a mess. It is time to try something new. I think Obama has a good heart, he is a smart man and he has a vision. Let's give him our support for four years and if we are not happy after that we will vote him out. All of this Republican vs. Democrat garbage is getting us nowhere. I just think our country is better than that and four years is really not that long in the scheme of things.
That is what is great about this board. We all see things differently but I think we all really want the same things. We are not all that far apart.

I really would not know where to start- When it comes right down to it- my belief once was that what really matters is that we are all Americans first, who love our country and want what is best-I don't believe that anymore- and there are so many reasons why- I am heartsick over this- but thankful someone got it on tape- Maybe for some reading is not believing, but seeing will be.........

You said it daisyjo! I totally agree with you...this post and the other regarding the media taking focus away from Obama's words.

We are all American's first, and it really saddens me that some think that their political affiliation defines them before their nationality. *shakes head* I don't get it.

Change comes, like you said, with each new administration. The rancor became extremely bad when Clinton was elected. The reps were nutty. Bush was elected and the Dems weren't much better, but I do believe they did give him the benefit of the doubt after 9/11 and he squandered it. Then the dems get beat up on and called flip floppers because they stood behind Bush (WTF can't win for loosing can they?) I am not a dem or a rep (I am very liberal so tend to vote dem) and I find fault with both parties. However, once Obama was elected, things have just become a boiling point. It is sad. And it really saddens me that other people don't think that it is rude. When we choose not to listen and try to understand the other side, then change will truely not occur. And people who don't think change needs to happen.....well...I have no words.

And if they didn't you would still complain...so what could the administration do with this subject that would garner your approval?

Ann Coulter is a WHACK JOB!!! That woman is truly certifiable.
They should put her in a room with a TV and make her watch herself and the hatred she spews over and over again...uggghhh! Hannity is a self-centered,"I'm ALWAYS right" twit....ugghhh redux!!

OK...I feel better. Glad they fired those people who were giving out such illegal advice!

Actually sweetie pie, I meant to post this in another thread - it would have made a lot more sense over there, LOL. But, now that it's there, it wasn't directed to you, but to someone else - they would know.
