I have two new teachers in my dept. who are so excited that they're jumping out of their skins....that's so great to see! I get to meet my new classes tomorrow and then we'll be up and running....can't wait! All kinds of info. today about N1H1 virus....please pray that it doesn't mutate into something terrible; that's what they're really afraid of. We have hand sanitizers all over the school. I went to Sam's Club and bought a giant size bottle for my desk. We have to tell them to cough/sneeze into their sleeves and to constantly wash and sanitize their hands. It's going to feel a bit strange to tell seniors to do that, but whatever works!! Bailey-What a dream team we have this year...my man Jeter is about to pass Lou Gehrig....can you believe it? Gotta love him!!!!!! luvvvv!!!! hey gurlie!~hugs!~~ya made it in!Yay!~i jus knew ya wouldnt fergit us!~sure missed ya this mornin~~soooo wuz the first day everythang you ever dreamed of? how much fun did ya really have? cuz i know ya did!~~spilll~~

We had the district-wide meeting, a building meeting, and then I had the English Dept. meeting!!!! I did have time to print my class lists and to help the 2 new teachers do the same. Tomorrow, I meet my new classes! I know many of them already from a community service club I advise; it will be really nice to have them in my class. I missed you all too~you really brighten my morning!! Hugs right back to you~catch you on the flip side. Hope everyone had a blessed day!!! |
