wonder who took the poll.... San Francisco is always considered a "gay" town.... so i guess they are happy...

I can think of many cities, towns and villages in the USA that are beautiful, safe and offer an excellent education to children. But - who knows - maybe the people aren't happy there! LOL Looks are deceiving!

Although, San Francisco is usually sterotyped as having the largest gay population, and is often subjected to many homophobic jokes; it is ranked as the 4th US city with a large gay population. Truth is gay people live all over this country. Here's the facts:

The U.S. city with the largest gay population is New York, with an estimated 272,493 gay residents.[5] Los Angeles is second with 154,270, followed by Chicago with 114,449 and San Francisco with 94,234.

The U.S. metro area with the largest gay population is New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island, with an estimated 568,903 gay residents. Los Angeles–Long Beach–Santa Ana is a close second with 442,211, followed by Chicago-Naperville-Joliet, Illinois-Indiana-Wisconsin with 288,748.[6]
