Quote raving: oh plot!...you have a bad post farei too!.......ok not going to comment on the pledge thing.....but I do feel you are right about the rest. My mom always taught us ( and she was a sunday school teacher) that everyone has their own God in their own heart.....meaning basically your own conscience....or like Pinocchio called his jimmy cricket. so I totally agree with the moral code angle, its suppose to be about integrity, values , morals, and knowing right from wrong. and acting accordingly. we create our fate and destines, that's just the way it is. its fine if you want to believe you don't, but don't go wishing people dead either, because that is a sure lack of integrity , values and morals!

great post Raving!! I do think we create our own fate as well..as in negativity attracts more negativity etc. we have alot more power than we think within ourselves. wishing someone dead is flat out negative energy. wishing something like that brings about no good for yourself.

May I Ask A Question Please?

Is this the same thread that was deleted last evening or has it been started over again? If so, I want to post in it, but looks to me as though these posts are all new and this was started today, right?

Also, I do not see ONE bad post here - - unless I am blind, so why is that being brought up? Mentioning it, when it is not happening, makes the "kiddies" come out.

Answer, please? Thank you.

Puddy, earlier this thread was being bad posted right and left. It appears that the admin could tell that no one was posting against the guidelines because the posts have been restored back as they originally where and can be replied to again.

Good, because I emailed through "Contact Us" days ago and administration is aware of the unnecessary bp posts. Yes, all of us posters can skip over them, but it puts a tremendous amount of work on the moderators to have to go through all the post. They are working on this, and I am sure they can figure out who is doing this eventually, by the process of elimination. They restore the pb posts almost immediately now, and I truly believe if they have any "suspects" it will give them an idea of who is doing this. They cannot go on forever going through all the pb's and it is entirely unfair to them and the people who do it do not give a rats azz about what it does to the moderators....so---that's my two cents.

Amen and Bless Me!

Okay then, I understand. I will no longer feel sorry for the mods if they don't have any means to figure this out or try to add the "equipment" on the site to figure it out. Okay? I have been on two other message board sites and they have the ability to do so. Most of them have, at the end of the page, WHO is on and what they are posting. That is so easy to figure out - - but since this site does not have it - - then forget it. The fact that they gave me the impression they were working on it, boggles my mind - - so from now on - - I don't care.

But, I do get ticked off when a mod comes on and says "not to talk about the bad posting" - - have a whole new insight to this site now.

Bye Bye - - no more. May come back later to see what else you all have to say about this Separation of Church and State. I was brought up Catholic so of course the "under God" was in our Pledge of Alligence, and I always thought it was written that way. Now I know it was not. Very interesting, I might add. I should have known!

Puddy, I wouldn't leave over it. But then again, I take long frequent breaks from the board. And don't get me wrong, being a mod is a PITA. And they get no pay, strictly volunteer. Admins have more power.

Anyway....yeah, I didn't know the pledge was revised to include that phrase either. I want to say Franklin added it, but could be totally wrong. I could google it, but I am lazy. lol

I guess I feel like it would be ok if it were taken out because there are many Americans who don't believe in God...some believe in another higher power and some just don't believe. I think of the kids in elementary school and how they don't know what they are saying. What if they are Jehovah Witness? They cannot say it at all (that has nothing to do with the god part) or buddhists? I guess I am saying that it seems like the pledge is inclusive. And at the time it was because other religions were not prevelant.

Christian right prays for liberals

Oct 1: Ms. Information: Rachel Maddow reports on some stories that didn’t make the front page, including Jerry Falwell's organization calling on followers to pray for liberals.

NEWS FLASH LIBERTY COUNSEL: I don't want your demonic and politically biased (Repub) prayers...why don't you stop faking the funk? You are no where NEAR anything Christ-like.
