Apparently, the drug Propofol and two other sedatives were found in his system.

Just heard this on TV.... I hope the authorities prosecute the Dr. to the fullest extent of the law!!

Here's some info from the Murray's affidavit/testimony:

Worried that Jackson may have been becoming addicted to the drug, the Houston cardiologist said he attempted to wean him from it, putting together combinations of other drugs that succeeded in helping Jackson sleep during the two nights prior to his death.

But on June 25, other drugs failed to do the job, as he recounted to detectives in an hour-by-hour account that was detailed by detective Orlando Martinez of the Los Angeles Police Department:

-- At about 1:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson 10 mg of Valium.

-- At about 2 a.m., he injected Jackson with 2 mg of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan.

-- At about 3 a.m., Murray then administered 2 mg of the sedative Versed.

-- At about 5 a.m., he administered another 2 mg of Ativan.

-- At about 7:30 a.m., Murray gave Jackson yet another 2 mg of Versed while monitoring him with a device that measured the oxygen saturation of a his blood.

-- At about 10:40 a.m., "after repeated demands/requests from Jackson," Murray administered 25 mg of propofol, the document said.

"Jackson finally went to sleep and Murray stated that he remained monitoring him. After approximately 10 minutes, Murray stated he left Jackson's side to go to the restroom and relieve himself. Murray stated he was out of the room for about two minutes maximum. Upon his return, Murray noticed that Jackson was no longer breathing," the affidavit said.

Efforts at CPR proved fruitless."

My question: was MJ in and out of sleep during those intervals when Murray kept feeding him drugs? If MJ was a frail as has been reported, how could his body have withstood all of those drugs at the same time, and then be alert enough to ask for Propofol?

TG that they are finally going to get this doctor. Remember what the Dr said when first questioned? He said he "NEVER" gave Michael any Propofol. His attorney made his stament at the begining and stated also that the doctor "NEVER" gave Michael any Propofol. Big liar huh? Also the so called 10 minutes that he left the room to go to bathroom and then came right back is a lie. Phone records of the doctors cell shows he made 3 calls during the time after he administed the Propofol. One of the calls lasted for 47 minutes and was in process at the time the doctor "CLAIMS" he was administering cpr to Michael. I guess that is why he did not put him on the floor to do the cpr, he had the phone in one hand. Must have been really tramatic for the Dr to be giving cpr to his dying patient in the middle of a personal phone call. I hope he gets the maximun penalty they have.

A doctor of all people should know what is & isn't lethal. There were enough drugs used to take down a horse.....
This is what uncontrolled wealth can do to people. They think they are untouchable!!

I guess "first do no harm" in the oath of doctors dont mean anything to him..... and just because Michael asked for a drug... the dr should know what is and isnt dangerous...

i can ask my doctor for something, dont mean he is gonna just let me have it...

Michael Jackson's autopsy report was surprising as much for what it didn't contain as for what it did: The singer was in relatively good health for a man his age and no illegal drugs were detected in his system.

We all know the doctor was wrong but who was paying for those drugs? I bet it wasn't the Doc!! How can we expect our own children and others to accept blame for wrong doing when we let others off! He was a drug user. Yes it's sad he's gone I actually loved his music but Im not gonna lie to myself and say he was something that he wasn't!! Sorry if that offends but thats how I feel about it!

there have been many stars that have been drug users, they all have so many enablers around them that get these drugs for them as long as they are on the payroll, i seem to recall one such person that lost his hearing for awhile because of drug abuse
maybe if someone would have said ENOUGH he would still be here

We need to stop glorifying it by sweeping it under the rug when celebs do it and only caring about it when it's the every day person!! For some reason we can take blame but they can't!!
