Who is ready to watch the VIKINGS vs. the PACKERS? Will the PACKERS regret getting rid of a "too" old QB two years ago? Will it come back to bite them? AARON RODGERS(PACKERS) vs. BRETT FARVE(VIKES)and who will win? Looks like the VIKES! 28-14 right now. |

Here's another tidbit. I believe this is still true, the VIKES are the only pro. football team owned by a minority(a millionaire AFRICAN AMERICAN man & his family). The VIKES defense in the 1970's were AWESOME and their nickname was THE PURPLE PEOPLE EATERS! I can't remember all of their front four but CARL ELLER, MARSHALL,PAGE and can't remember the other guy. Their defense carried them to the SB much like the 1985 BEARS but their QB wasn't strong enough. MAYBE it's their year but many teams who start strong burn out early,hope they don't. Still root for my COWBOYS but I will never believe they will win a SB with TONY ROMO, love MARION BARBER & DeMARCUS WARE, though and newbie TSCHARD CHOICE! |

Re: the cowboys is that why t.o. left, because he had issues with Tony Romo, but he has been on quite a few teams... so it may be him.... personally i cant do w/o him T.O. is a GREAT RECIEVER and nobody can touch him as far as touchdowns right now. He will probably retire pretty soon as he is old for a reciever at 35, 36. He is a playmaker but he is ALSO a PRIMA DONNA. When T.O. gets the ball and makes touchdowns he is HAPPY and when he doesn't get the ball ENOUGH to make his touchdowns(and bonuses) he will let EVERYONE know about it. A happy T.O. is a happy team and when he is unhappy, the whole team will suffer. He has played for the 49ers, the EAGLES,the COWBOYS, and now the BILLS and usually feuds with either the QB or the Head COACH. Some of what T.O. was complaining about is VERY TRUE, especially with ROMO throwing the ball to his favorite/roommate/partyboy/friend and after T.O. was traded JASON GARRETT(offensive coordinator has ROMO distributing the ball much better). T.O. is a DRAMA QUEEN, you bet but he is a very exciting reciever to watch, nonetheless. JMO! |

I love T.O.--warts and all. It's weird seeing him wearing a Bills jersey right now...and it was weird seeing him wear a Cowboys jersey after the Eagles...I still have my Eagles jersey, wonder if I should wear it still? LOL |

Dont know anyone who is on the 49ers... i printed out a schedule and highlighted games i would like to see.... most of the time i always get the ones that i dont.... guess since im in Ga , they show more of the Falcons, Miami, Carolina...so i am glad when they play a team i like... Well, I am in TEXAS and so watch ALL of the COWBOYS, TEXANS games and in college watch many of the LONGHORNS games. I will watch many of the other games if it's a rivalry that I'm interested in or a good evenly matched team, or if there is a cute player that is playing. I must admit that I have always like to watch the recievers as they do look very good in their uniforms as do many of the QB's, cornerbacks,middle linebackers, and safeties! JMO. |

As for "shine" IMO his shine days are over.He made alot of mistakes last season,and was always bad mouthing his team mates.But I agree with ya my boys want make it far this year,but it sure has nothing to do with the mouth of the NFL been gone.
